| Shirley Maiewski was known in some circles as "Mama Star Trek". Not only was she a talented writer and tireless champion in the cause of keeping Star Trek alive, but she lived that role from the early 1970's until her death as Chairman of the Star Trek Welcommittee, a group that served as a clearing house for questions and information on the show. Shirley passed away in early 2004. She will be sorely missed! | ||||||||||||||||||||
