STACEY BLADES
(guitars)
2004-present
"Holy crap, it's Trevor Guns and Stacey Blades, we like totally have to go get their autographs, man!"
Stacey Blades is probably best known for his work with the band Roxx Gang.  He joined the band in 1992.  They released "The Voodoo You Love" in 1995 or 96.  Stacey ended up staying with Roxx Gang for almost ten years and recorded two more albums with the band.  Stacey also played in the band Mojo Gurus, which was supposedly "Roxx Gang's alter-ego" because it is the same band with a different name.  Mojo Gurus recorded one album with Stacey, although has since stated that he didn't agree with Roxx Gang touring as Mojo Gurus.  Around 2000 he decided it was time to move on and left Roxx Gang / Mojo Gurus.

Stacey is originally from Toronto, and had also been in a band before Roxx Gang called Fraidy Cat, based in Totonto.  After he left Roxx Gang, he was also in the band Supercool for less than a year (which also featured Eric Stacy from Faster Pussycat / The Liberators and Vikki Foxx from Enuff Znuff / Vince Neil Band / Warrant).  With Supercool, he released one live EP.  Throughout 2003, Stacey was in a band called Smack (with Pat Muzingo from Junkyard and some of the guys from Supercool), who had demoed some songs with Brent Muscat as their producer (but I don't believe that they have any albums out).

He was named the new guitarist for LA Guns (replacing Brent or Keri, depending on how you look at it) in early 2004.  Stacey was brought in originally as a session player on  the band's "LA Guns Rips the Covers Off" album and actually impressed the band so musch that they hired him.  In concert, he does a mean version of "nothing better to do" (Kelly's old song) which is featured on the live album "Loud & Dangerous".

In late 2005, Stacey formed a side band called 100 Proof with Jizzy Pearl and WASP bass player Mike Duda (although Stacey was still in LA Guns).  The band played it's first show in December of that year, but their drummer has since left the band and nothing else has been announced.

Phil Lewis speaks very highly of Stacey, and even our good friend Tracii Guns has shown his support for Stacey.
Stacy's Birthday is November 4.
Stacey is featured on the newest three LA Guns albums:
"Rips fhe Covers off" (2004),  "Tales from the Strip" (2005), & "Loud & Dangerous" (2006).
He is also featured on the following
Roxx Gang albums:
"The Voodoo You Love", "Old New Borrowed & Blue", "Drinkin' T.N.T. and Smokin' Dynamite"
"Bodacious Ta-Ta's (The Best of Roxx Gang)", and the first "
Mojo Gurus" self-titled album.
Stacey also played on
Supercool's "Live at the Wilcox Hotel" EP
