Contacting Us and Other Such Information


This website is maintained and updated by various members of the Purple Monkey Mafia / Discordians for Softer Sandpaper (Society), most notably the Princess Mandarava of the Church of Eris, the current Episkopos of the cabal, in loose/strict discordance with the wishes and/or suggestions of Irreverend Hugh, who is the former misdirector. It belongs to every member however, despite the fact that Irreverend Hugh appears to be the most longwinded/prolific writer of the bunch. (His scrawls are all over the place.) In case you haven't figured it out yet, the PMM/DSS(S) which, includes this website, is a non-commercial enterprise. We are definitely Erisian-based, if not solely-Discordian. That remains our primary focus, if that means anything.

Submissions to this site's ever growing collection of pages and articles are always welcome. We encourage you to send your work in if you wish. Submitted works can be of any length. We will accept various file types in text, MSWord, Adobe PDF, or html formats. Let us know if you have any formatting or editing suggestions you would like to see in your article. Include crediting info and any biographical info you wish to include. If your submission has been included in other Discordian or Erisian works and you wish us to note that, tell us about it. Likewise for any one wishing to submit works to our Buddhism, Paganism, or Occult sections. (We will also include any links you wish to see in your article to your own website, to others where your work may also appear, or to any references.) Also let us know if your work is kopyleft or copyright. Note: Works for the Discordian Society, Erisian Movement, or about Discordianism/Erisianism will be assumed to be kopyleft unless you state otherwise and give us a good argument as to why it shouldn't be. In any case, whether kopyleft or not, we will protect and respect the rights of all original writers/creators of works submitted.

Please feel free to send us your comments, tequila, and your thoughts. We respect your privacy and any contact info you send us for purposes of correspondence, etc, will be protected. Whoever keeps putting holes in Irreverend Hugh's socks: Stop it! Otherwise we will be forced to use the occult powers of electrical appliances. Interested in becoming a PMM/DSS(S) member? Then declare yourself one as you wish. Eris knows that if you are nutty enough to want to be one then you are probably one (or five) already. Be forewarned that Eris is a goddess of confusion as much as chaos. She indulges in a peculiar affection towards this cabal, except when She doesn't. Let us know (or don't) about your choice to join us. The Cabal currently has about a dozen and a half members (some based around Chicago, the rest of which are far flung across North America and a couple other places with strange names like "Europe" or "Japan").

(Note: due to webspider-type crap, the email addresses have been modified and are not direct links.) If you would like further esoteric instruction, and you can't find it anywhere else online, in our Erisiana section, or at Irreverend Hugh's site, email us and we promise that we will at least reply with something. Due to unfortunate incidents relating to information superhighway traffic accidents, most cabal members won't be found online, though you can try searching. This site's guestbook is up and running, if you wish to leave a "shout." Spam and/or abusive messages sent to us will be reported (likely to our Tequilarian Agents), and the offender(s) email address may be used in future jakeday operations. We don't care about your porn, or your viagra/cialis offers, or your better housing deals...nor do we ever consider helping any bankers from Nigeria in their latest conjobs. So, if you have any thing to solicit or sell, don't bother with us. (Consider that your legal notice.)

Since we now have a new site admin, this site will be updated and checked regularly, so visit often and you may find more articles and work as the weeks pass. We now have a very large collection of Erisian Writings and other such goodies, some of which you will find listed on the aforementioned Erisiana Page. The vast majority of Erisiana we have collected has yet to be published or posted here. Sometime in the next several months (by 2007), we will be moving this site to our own domain. We are currently looking at a few options. So please stay tuned. (We may leave this version up at this URL with the relevant redirections, for those who may miss the move.)
