This Is Ashley's Page |
Ashley is my earth angel. She is the light of my life and I think its time to create a page just for her. I know without Ashley I wouldnt be the mommy I am or have the love I do. Ashley baby, I love you with all my heart and this is for you sweetie! |
We found out I was pregnant with Ashley a week before Christmas in 1995. I knew I was pregnant about 3 weeks before but didnt have proof until the weekend before Christmas. Darrell and I were so excited but so nervous. This pregnancy at the time seemed so hard but now I know she was just being Ashley lol. I had a few problems but nothing to serious. 3 mths before she was due she decided she was ready to come out. I went to the Dr. and they put me in the hosp and stopped the labor. They told me I couldnt work but can do lite duty but not to push it an alot of bedrest. Ashley was born on August 15, 1996, 4 days late. go figure huh. She was such a beautiful little baby I couldnt believe we could make such a beautiful little girl. She weighed 6 lbs and 14 ozs. 19.5 inches long and was born @ 9:43 am after a night of labor but only 3 major pushes. She had blonde hair on the top of her head and red around the neck line. She was such a blessing to Darrell and I and the whole family. She was the first girl born on my moms & dads side. So first girl can tell you how spoiled she was and still is. From the first weeks of life we knew Ashley was a very special little girl. At two weeks old this little girl decided to start pulling herself across her baby bed. Everyone still thinks I am nuts when I say that but she really did. She loved to pull herself across the bed and loved to smile and make silly baby noises. She was just the happiest baby I had ever seen. She never cryed really. She had 3 different cries and they were as different as night and day. One was a hungry cry and it told it all lol. the second one was I am wet or poopie get this thing off of me and the last one was a I am pissed. I figured out pretty quick which ones meant what. The only time she really cryed was when she was mad. The other two cries were mainly a fussy noise. She was always so fun. She started to grow and suprise me even more. She has always been ahead of the game if you know what I mean. Ashley has been the light of my life. See at the age of 17, I was told that I would most likely never be able to have kids or if I did It would be hard so Ashley was definitely a miracle. As we progress thru time. I look back at how special Ashley is. She was 2 mths old when we found out she had Reflux grade 2 of the kidneys. WE were told that she would most likely grow out of it but that if she had any UTI's urinary tract infections) that she would have to have surgery to correct it. But she has never gtten another infection since (crossing my fingers) But as Ashley got older and grew bigger I was just amazed. She has just progressed so much. She had been thru alot when she was a baby and well she has just grown to be such a beautiful and sweet little girl. Well as Ashley has grown she has done alot. I am going to skip a few and start telling you about alot of stuff. Well Ashleys first Christmas was like most when they r only 4 mths old. She was sitting up at her first Christmas and rolling around like a little wild child lol. She just wanted to eat everything that she wasnt supposed to the first christmas. She loved to be with Darrell, me and my mom and dad. This year she did so many things. At 7 mths she decided she wanted to start pulling up on everything and also tried to walk. but She was on her toes so she didnt get it at first. I had to put shoes on her feet to make her try to walk flat footed. She actually started walking at 8 mths and scared the total crap out of me lol she would fall and get mad. She hit her head a few times and I was about ready to tell her no more walking lol. But she started getting it pretty quick and how cute she was. well read more about Ashley go to next page |
