Ludwig (Louis) Thom was born October 20, 1825 he ws married to Augustina Hofferman in 1853 in Germany.
They were the parents of four known children:

Charles
Fridrich (Fred)
Agusta
Louise
Perhaps there were children born before Charles since they were married in 1853.

Charles was born October 8, 1865
He married Wilhelmina Dresow in January lf 1880 in Carver County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of
John and Johanna Kusserow Dresow.

They had three children:

Charles, jr
Meta
Wilhelmina

On the 1880 census for the town of Dahlgren in Carver County, Charles and Wilhelmina were enumerated with Wilhelmina's parents.

By the 1885 Minnesota Territorial Census they were living in Long Prairie in Todd County. Wilhelmina's parents, John and Johanna were
also living in Long Prairie and were still there when the 1895 Territorial census was taken.

Wilhelmina's father passed away in 1898 and her mother returened to Carver County.
Charles and Wilhelmina continued to live in Long Prairie at least until the 1905 Territorial census.

After 1905 there is a lack of information until 1908, when Wilhelmina died in the City of Drake in McHenry County, North Dakota.
She died on April 1, 1908 at the age of 48 and she is buried in the Drake Cemetery. Their son, Charles and his family
were living in Drake at the time, so possibly Charles and Wilhelmina were living there as well.

Wilhelmina

Obituary #1   Obituary #2    Death Certificate

Sometime after Wilhelmina's death Charles, sr and Charles, jr and his family  moved to Battle Ground, Clark County, Washington.
On the 1910 census, Charles, sr and his daughter Minnie (I don't know if this is Meta or Wilhelmina) are living in the same household as
Charles, jr and his family.
