William W. Johnstone Biography
The Man...
William W. Johnstone was born in southern Missouri, the son of a minister and a school teacher. The youngest of four children, he left high school at the young age of fifteen to join the FFL. He was discharged for being underage and joined a carnival, finally finishing high school in 1957.
He has worked as a deputy sheriff, has served his time in the Army, and then spent sixteen years in radio broadcasting. He began writing in 1970, his diligence paying off in 1979 when his book The Devil's Kiss was first published.
A full-time author since the early 1980s, he has now published over one hundred and sixty books and has acquired quite a fan following. William always loves to hear from his readers, and you can email him directly at:
