The car ran when we purchased it 4 years ago. That engine was pulled and the spare engine was partially rebuilt. Several new parts were put on the spare engine during the rebuild and some parts were taken off the original engine. New dual SU carbs were put on the spare engine during the rebuild. A new rearend was also put in. The rebuild was finished and driven for about a month and then the rob barrings went out. Therefore, the rebuilt engine needs new rod barrings and it's ready to go. The original engine needs the following to run: entire upper gasket set, water pump, and the bracket that holds the throttle cable. The electrical system on the car has been completely re-wired. A new slave cylinder for the hydraulic clutch has been bought, but not yet installed. Everything worked the last time it was driven. It has been stored inside during the last two years.
Currently has a flat tire, the driver's seat is ripped, there are minor paint chips and scratches, floor pans were redone by the previous owner, some other minor body work was done by the previous owner, no major rust spots, it currently does not need any major body work or interior work.
With very little expense on engine repair, this car will make a nice sports car for someone to tool around in during the summer and have lots of fun!
