"Trivia-Girl"
My instinct to life is to be a survivor...
I was born late in life to two wonderful parents,
and one older brother who was 20 yrs my senior.
For much of my toddler yrs my brother responded to me
in more of a father~daughter relationship than as a
brother so my childhood had somewhat of an extended
choice of outllooks to life.
I experienced much of the usual moving around and
unstableness often associated with single parent
life.
Looking back on my life, I can honestly say that my
mother may have never added to my creativity, but
she always provided me a warm comfortable home full
of safety and security.
My mother's ultimate desire would probably have been
to see me remain childless and be a self supporting
strong contemporary business woman. In most respects
I hope she is watching me and seeing that while I
am not the stereotypical business woman, I believe
there is room for creativity, and no amount of money
is worth boredom and unhappiness.
I believe there energy has developed into something
positive in my life. Losing them each to terminal
illness, my father to leukemia, and my mother to cancer,
made me grow up and mature. I now see all the dreams
I should have had younger in life. I make my own choices
and I work harder than I ever have in my entire life.
Basically I have learned to smile about everything, and
always look for the rainbows amongst the rain.
Tragically I lost my brother to suicide Halloween 1998.
Bill was a wonderful human being and the ultimate
brother~hero. There is not one day I do not wish he
could have felt relief from the greif he felt in losing
our parents. Nothing should be so complicated in life to
allow someone to choose suicide.
I am the survivor, and I am the most trivial.
As my nickname might suggest to you, I LOVE TRIVIA!
Other items of interest to me :
Waterfalls
I have always been a fanatic about water,
I was a lifeguard during my teens and I basically
have been swimming like a mermaid since the age of
three. Somewhere along the line I have developed
a fasination to the beauty of waterfalls.
Waterfalls are one of the most serene yet
exciting things of nature.
Snowglobes
I own a growing collection of snowglobes.
I enjoy watching the tranquil snowflakes fall
within each tiny world. They put me at ease and
make me think of "home".
At the moment I call a small village near Detroit, Michigan, my home. However, I recently found the home of my dreams in Ryan Falls near Seattle, Washington. If I could live anywhere it would be in the serenity of the Pacific Northwest surrounded by nature and of course my own private waterfall! My ultimate dream would be to move to Ryan Falls and set up an artist community. I would like to follow my first dream of "ADVERTISING" and work with other artists translating the beauty around us into marketable ideas for companies and businesses worldwide. I have a commercial/graphic art background
lessons and fabulous friends I have met along the way
My very best friend and confident, is my loving husband, Kirk
KIRK
is my rock and has held me strong through much
frustration. In Kirk, I always find the light
at the end of my darkness. He is a wonderful person,
and he knows the value of people and how it is important
to always be conscious of another person's feelings.
He is a very unique giving individual. I love Kirk more every day.

If you landed this page by a pathway from my homepage,
you should know that a "smile" is my most favorite thing
so it is with this I leave you a song written by another favorite of mine. It sums up my
life...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SMILE by Chaplin, Parsons and Phillips
Smile, though your heart is aching.
Smile, even though it's breaking.
Though there are clouds in the sky,
You'll get by...
If you smile through your fears and sorrows.
Smile and maybe tomorrow.
You'll see the sun come shining through.
If you just light up your face with gladness,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hide every trace of sadness.
Although a tear may be, ever so near.
That's the time you must keep on trying.
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find life is still worthwhile
If you'll just smile, come on and smile.
If you just smile.
