Pamela Milliron & Kirk Jarvinen married October 4th, 2001 When the dating process began for Kirk and I, we were the closest of friends. We were friends working together at the same company for over a year. Time found more and more to draw us together. I tend to be a pretty aggressive personality and I worked security, while Kirk always the little kid at heart worked literally playing with toys everyday. For all the reasons that we were completely opposite, Kirk and I were actually pretty alike also. My history involved a love of art and it was always my dream to some day go back into the field. Kirk was also a comic book artist and I was immediately "drawn" to him, when I had the opportunity to see his work and creativity. Kirk and I got into the habit of bouncing creative ideas off each other, as our friendship evolved, many times we found ourselves thinking exactly the same ideas, much like twins. A police officer on the summer streets of Las Vegas once remarked... "Are you sure you two should be holding hands?"... he then followed up his curious words by telling us that we looked like we should be brother and sister. Kirk and I felt like anything but brother and sister, but we did feel that certain security that you feel with family. It was about this time, that I believe we both decided that we wanted more than just a friendship or dating. I always walked with pride beside Kirk. To me Kirk was the most attractive, sensible, caring, trustworthy, unique, kindhearted and loving person I had ever met." I saw Kirk as this beyond dreams type of person who you see in movies or magazines as a teenager and think, "They would never have anything to do with me..." As I said in my wedding vows, "I never dreamed I would marry my own comic book SuperHeroe". It is still an amazement to me that I am so fortunate and lucky to have had a relationship with Kirk, and now a marraige.
