 "All of AsGard Smiles" How many brides are sewing their wedding gown the day of there wedding?? The well prepared brides wouldn't be, but that says it all doesn't it?... haha! At 4am the morning of our wedding day, there I sat in the midst of yards and yards of midnite green silk velveteen fabric. There wasn't time for panic, and Kirk was doing enough for the both of us. Sew, sew and more sewing and green lint all around, but believe it or not I completed my gown with 1 hour to spare. Sounds rediculous, but remember, our wedding met many challenges along the way, and I wasn't about to let a little thing like a dress prevent my destiny.  I truly had found a love beyond all, the day I stood before our friends and listened to Kirk recite his vows. He left me speechless, and I couldn't remember everything I had written to say, all I could do was feel the tears well up inside of me, because I knew in that moment that all the worrying, excitement and anxiety were mild feelings in comparison to the trust and love I felt for Kirk.
All at once we were married and there we stood gazing at all of our friends... I never once had actually looked at any of them up until that point. Imagine the thoughts racing through my head, when I had gotten my breath enough to realize they had each followed our request and participated in our costume affair. |
