Welcome to our website!

Troop 2 is a traditional boy-led troop. Our aims are to constantly improve our program of leadership for boys and our service to the community, which have been continuous since our founding in 1924. We are an active troop and offer many opportunities for boys with a wide range of outdoor adventures year- round. If you enjoy activities such as hiking, camping, rafting, canoeing and rock climbing, you might enjoy joining us!

Our troop is sponsored by The First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg. Since 1941, we have met in our own Scout Hut, a large, rustic cabin-type structure. When the weather permits, we enjoy a roaring fire in the fireplace during our meetings. We proudly hold to the motto that is inscribed on our mantle "Where the fire of friendship burns forever."
In 2001, because of the need for church expansion, our hut was moved to its present site.
Check out our Hut Renovations page to see photos.

We meet every Monday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Our hut is adjacent to the First Presbyterian Church and just behind the Mobile Meals facility on Main Street. Click on the Locator Map to Hut button to find our exact location.
