Because earning an IP is a long process, the people on this committee decided to only do the more difficult IPs as a group. If the IP intrests you, look into your IP book and go to pages 30-31, and 46-47 to read the rest of the requirements.

For "Your Own Business" 's Career Exploration #3 You need to organize a career fair for your class. You are supposed to invite representatives from the business and professional communities to discuss careers in marketing, public relations, journalism, and the law. The committee would wish to hold a "career day" like they used to have in Elementary School where parents would come in and talk about their career.
This would count towards your career exploration and possibly more if the administrator can get their act together and contact their mother's friend who runs her own business. If she is one of the career people in our fair it would count for Skill Builder #4 of Your Own Business AND Career Exploration #1 on From Stress to Success.
The requirements for Career Exploration #1 on From Stress to Success is : Read about or interview two professionals from the following: (Lists off a dozen ideas) massage therapist, and yoga instructor. Ask them about their field, how they were trained, and how they see their field expanding or changing in the next 10 years.
The good thing is that the Administrator's mother is a yoga instructor, and her friend that run's her own business is a massage therapist.
We had the Administrator's mother give a presentation of sorts on yoga. This got the girls who were there on time half of Career Exploration #1. To receive credit for the IP's you MUST come to the meetings or you might miss something! If you really want to receive the IP you can do sections on your own if you missed that meeting. ^_^
