| On August 9th 2004 the older scouts are going to Philmont. We are all looking forward to this upcoming event. We are going on a seven day hike in New Mexico. Philmont is 200 square miles of land donated to the Boy Scouts of America. It is very hard to get into this camp because the telephone lines are only open twice in a year for 3 hours with over a million calls each time. We have been getting ready all year for Philmont and we need to make some money so we can go. We need 8,000 dollars and we are all giving up our weekends to make money to go. |
