"He just proposed!" Brian whispered to Val still stunned. "I know!" Valley whispered back. "Say something!" Val nudged Melly. "Um....I need time to think. I'm so sorry Nick!" Melissa said crying, she then ran upstairs to her third floor apartment. "Does this mean you two are engaged or did she just break up with you?" One of the reporters shoved the microphone in his face. "Listen!" Nick began to scream, "You guys are the nosiest bastards I have ever seen! This was a moment to remember! If you dare air this, print this, anything along those lines...... you'll be facing one hell of a fucking lawsuit!" Nick got into the reporter's face and slammed the camera down ,which broke the lens. "You'll have to pay for that!" The cameraman yelled. "As soon as one of you can shit out an apology and straighten everything out....that's when I'll pay for that!" Nick once again yelled at the reporters
and the cameramen.
"I'm gonna go up and talk to her." Valley announced. "Miss, can we get a word with you?" One of the reporters asked Val. "NO!" Valerie said turning around and she went into the building. "How about you Mr. Littrell? Any plans with you and your girlfriend? Are you two engaged?" Some of the reporters began to harass Brian. "Ya'll know what? I agree with my bud Nick....you guys are nosey bastards!" Brian yelled as he went into the lobby of the apartment building. Nick followed behind him. ::Buzz:: Brian pressed the call button to the girls' apartment but got no answer. "Valley will come down, just hold on little buddy." Brian patted Nick on the back as he sat on the bench in the waiting area. "Melly will say yes. I know." Brian said. "I sure hope so anyway." Brian then mumbled under his breath. "What was that?" Nick asked looking up. "I said I know for sure she will." Brian lied. "God, how I love her. She just doesn't understand how much I do." Nick sighed resting his head in his hands.
~~Upstairs w/ Melly and Valley~~
"You can't lock me out." Valley said taking her keys out of her pocket. She unlocked the door and went in. Melly was out on the balcony thinking. "Melly? You OK?" Val asked sliding the door open. "I dunno Val. I think so, but I'm not sure." Melly said looking down the parking lot below where the reporters were. "Of course you are! Your long time love just proposed to you. How can you not be OK?" Valley asked comforting her best friend. "Do you wanna know something'?" Melly asked, but continued before Val could answer, "This place, right here where we are standing is the place where Nick first said he loved me, this is the place where we first kissed. We have so many memories on this balcony. I don't wanna give it up." Melissa said as a tear dropped from her eye. "Is that why you were upset? Cause you didn't want to leave memories behind?" Val asked. Melly just nodded. "Aww, Mel, that's OK, we don't have to, you just shouldn't have left Nick down there like that." Valley said pointing to the parking lot. "I know, I just have too many emotions and....and....and...." Melissa couldn't finish her sentence she was crying so much. "Are you sure you're gonna be OK?" Valley asked. "Yeah, I wanna pack now." Melissa managed to squeeze a smile past her tears. "Alright! You get the suitcases and I'll get the Boys!" Valley jumped up and headed for the door. "Don't mention anything to the reporters about the whole moving in thing. I don't wanna start another controversial story." Melly said as Val went out the door. "You can count on me!" Val said just before the door closed.
