Chapter 19:
                                                   {Kiwi}

~Nick and Melly~~

   "I really don't know. I want all our friends, and family to be there." Melly said still skeptical about the whole thing. "It's all right. I understand." Nick said a little disappointed. "Hey, I got an idea...." Melly started. "Let's rehearse for the honeymoon!" Melly finished with a devilish grin. "I like how you think!" Nick agreed picking up Melissa and carried her upstairs.

  ~Brian and Val~

   "I can't wait until tomorrow!" Val exclaimed as she carried some of her bags into Brian's house. "Aww, can't we just forget about all that for tonight?" Brian said with a puppy dog look. "You nasty!" Val said kissing Brian. "Yes, I am." He mumbled kissing her back. "Come on elf boy, let's go upstairs." Val led him up to the bedroom and they 'celebrated' their first night of living together.

  ~The Next Day~

   ::ring ring:: "Hello?" Val answered sitting up still in bed. "Hey Val! Are you ready to go?" It was Melly of course. "Oh, yeah....give me about 15 minutes. I just woke up." Val said putting her robe on. "OK, I'll come pick ya up!" Melissa ended. "See ya." Val said hanging up.

   "Hey Bri, I'm gonna leave." Val said as she saw Melissa's car pull up. "OK, Don't buy anything though. You got enough stuff!" Brian said taking the box of Frosted Flakes out of the cupboard. "Don't worry, I will!" Val said hyped up for her day of shopping. "I hope you grabbed Brian's credit card!" Melly greeted Val as she came out of the house. Val just laughed and got in the car. "We have so much to do, the dresses, flowers, invitations, food." Melissa sighed, "Where do we start?" she finished. "Right there." Valerie pointed to a small bridal shop on the corner. "Sounds good." Melly agreed.

  ~At The Bridal Shop~

    "Hello, how may I help you?" The consultant asked in her French accent. "We're just browsing for now." Melly told her. "Oh, Melly! Look at this!" Val said in awe of a dress. "That's beautiful Val!" Melly said stroking the lace material. "Miss, can you wear white?" The consultant asked from behind the counter. "We're just browsing!" Val said back. After looking a bit longer, Melly found a dress she liked. A simple off-white satin one with tiny studs that lined the sides. "Would you like to try that one on?" The consultant popped out from behind a rack of clothes. "Yes please." Melissa answered her. "Very well, right this way." The consultant said taking the dress off of the rack.

  ~Meanwhile--Brian and Nick~

   "Yo Nicky!" Brian said when Nick answered the phone. "Yeah Rok, what's up?" Nick replied. "I think we should do something special for the girls. Ya know the whole house warming, moving in sorta thing. Whaddya say?" Brian asked. "I dunno, what did ya have in mind?" Nick asked confused. "Good question, that's where you come in. I dunno either." Brian said. The Boys pondered on what to get the girls and then Nick had an idea. "Meet me over here in an hour. I think I know what to do!" Nick said. "See ya in a bit buddy!" Brian said hanging up.

  ~Val and Melly~~Still At The Bridal Shop~

   "We found my dress. Now I need to figure out what color the bridesmaids are gonna wear." Melly said looking at the rack of dresses. "This is beautiful." She mumbled taking a pale blue dress off of the rack. "Everything is 'beautiful' to you." Val said laughing. "But you're right...it is." She added. "I want you to wear this one." Melly said handing the dress to Val. "Well, I'm not gonna argue that." Val said taking it and going into the dressing room to try it on. "Dum, dum, da, dum, da, du, da dum." Melly mumbled as she was looking at veils. "How's this?" Val asked stepping out of the dressing room. "Perfect!" Melissa said realizing she did the right thing by not eloping last night. "For some reason I think the Boys are up to something." Valley said to Melissa. "Why's that?" She asked back. "I dunno, I just have this feeling......" Val replied in deep thought.
