~Brian & Valerie~
"Do you want some more champagne?" Brian whispered to his love. "Yea, just alittle. I don't wanna get drunk on our night alone." Valerie laughed as she walked to the deck of the boat, "Ah, the warm breeze feels so nice." "It sure does...and the view from here is amazing." Brian smiled. "Bri, you can't see anything from there except me." Val smirked. "That's the best view there is." Brian moved closer to her and embraced her, "Let's go inside and make some waves of our own." "Brian!" Valerie laughed at him. "Well...when else will we have time alone?!" Brian said picking her up and heading inside the boat. "I guess you're right...let's make this boat rock." Valerie said kissing him.
~Nick and Melissa~
"OMG! Nicky...that was so awesome! All the bands were great!" Melly screamed, "I can't believe those guys Ethan & Jason are in a band!" "I'm glad you enjoyed it, babe." Nick laughed at her. "Why you laughing?!" Melly yelled. "Cuz you are screaming at me!" Nick yelled back laughing. "Sorry...My ears are ringing still." Melly smiled. "Are you up for another surprise?" He asked. "Sure!" Melly said. "Here, put this VIP necklace on and follow me." Nick said taking her hand. Nick took Melissa backstage and she got to meet all the bands except for Ethan and Jason's. "Babe, one of our producers is back here, I'm gonna go say hi and then we can go, Ok?" Nick said. "Alright, I'll be right here." Melly said giving him a kiss. Melly sat down on the plush couch backstage and began to look through a magazine that was there when a voice called out to her. "Melissa?" Ethan came towards her. "Hey Ethan, you & Jason were great tonight. When did you start a band?" Melly said as he sat next to her. "About a year ago...but this was our first big gig." He exclaimed. "Nice. Good luck with it." Melissa smiled at him. "Thanks, we're working on some new songs, wanna hear some?" Ethan asked. "Sure, I'd love to." Melly said as Ethan reached in his bag and pulled out tape player. Since Ethan only had one set of headphones, he needed to scoot closer to Melly and placed his around her, so he could put one side of the headphones on her ear and the other on his ear. Melly didn't think anything of it, but Nick did as he made his way back to her. He knew Ethan obviously had a thing for her. "Let's go, sweetie." Nick said pulling her off the couch and knocking the headphones off. "Nick! I was listening to Ethan's songs." Melly said. "Sorry, maybe another time." Nick said dragging her away from Ethan. "It's okay, Melissa. Nicky boy here obviously feels threatened by me." Ethan smirked. "I'm threatened by you?" Nick stopped and turned to him. "That's what I said." Ethan stared at him. "You are sadly mistaken. I have nothing to be threatened by." Nick stared at him. "Then why don't you let Melly sit here and hear my songs with me?! Or are you afraid that she'll leave you for me?" Ethan said. "I'm not afraid of that." Nick said grabbing Melissa's hand, "See the ring. We're engaged." "But you're not married." Ethan smirked. "Ya know, man...go find your own woman and stay the hell away from mine!" Nick yelled as he grabbed Melly's hand and walk towards the door. "See'ya around, Melissa." Ethan yelled to her as they got out of sight. "Can you believe him?!" Nick asked Melly as they got in the car. "Nick, he was just playing besides I only have eyes for you." Melly said kissing his cheek, "Let's just forget about him and enjoy the rest of our night, Ok?" "Sounds good to me...let's head home and well...ya know." Nick smirked at her. "Yes, I know." Melly laughed.
~Brian and Valley~
"Ouch!" Brian said as he hit the floor. "Babe, you okay?!" Valley said leaning over the bed trying not to laugh. "Yeah..." He said rubbing his head, "The waves are getting bigger out there." "I know...It's kinda making me sea-sick." Valley sighed, "But I hate to leave the boat." Valley just finished saying that before she fell on top of Brian. "If you want me, you could have just asked me instead of attacking me!" Brian joked. "Oh, shut-up!" Valley playfully hit him. "Maybe should we get inside by Nick and Melly." Brian suggested, "We aren't gonna get any sleep out here with the water so rough and the rain coming down. "Yeah, I agree, But it's 4 o'clock in the morning...we just can wake 'em up!" Valley yelled. "Well, I have key in my bag. We can just go in there and go on the couch quietly." Brian told Val. "Alright, but we have to be quiet." Valley smiled.
~Melly and Nick~
Melly and Nick were asleep in each other's arms, when a sound suddenly woke Melly up from her sound sleep. ::BANG-BANG:: "What was that?" Melly whispered. ::BANG:: "Oh, there it is again! Nick!" Melly started to shake him. "Whaaa?" Nick groggily answered. "Get up! I hear noises downstairs!" Melly whispered. "It's prolly the dogs...go back to sleep." He assured her. ::BANG:: "There it is again, did ya hear it?" Melly asked. "Yeah, I did. It might be by the back door." Nick said sitting up, "I'll go check." "Noo! Don't go by yourself, I'll go with you." Melly said grabbing his waist from behind as they left the room.
~By Nick's back door~
"How could you forget your bag in Nick's house!?" Valley screamed at Brian as she was beginning to get really wet. "I dunno...but they'll here us!" Brian yelled back as rain dripped down his face, "Just keep banging on the door." ::BANG-BANG:: "Nick, it is coming from the back door...it sounds like someone knocking." Melly said as they approached the door and saw to dark, wet figures at the glass door. "Yeah, is that Val & Bri?!" Nick said. "Oh My...let them in!" Melly said as Nick slid the door open. "Thank God!" Valley said pushing past Nick in the house shivering, "Elf boy over there forget his bag...with the house key...in your house!" "I said I was sorry, babe. And they heard us...so it's all good." Brian said dripping wet. "Yeah, but now we woke them up!" Valley yelled back as she broke out laughing, "And I look like a wet rat!" "Guys, It's really okay, you guys can borrow our clothes and stay in the guest room." Melly laughed. "Are ya sure?" Brian asked. "Yeah, of course, plenty of room." Nick said yawning. "Val, come on...let me give you clothes to wear." Melly said leaving the room with her wet friend. "Yeah, rat boy, let's get some for you too." Nick laughed as they left the room.
~The Later that Morning~
"Thanks for letting us stay here." Valley said as she sipped her OJ. "Stop, your like family, we love you." Melly smiled. "So, how was your night?" Valley whispered to Melly. "Oh, it was awesome...but we ran into Ethan. He has a band w/ Jason." Melly said. "Oh really? They good? and what happened?" Val curiously asked. "Well,they are pretty good. And Nick went to talk to a producer and Ethan approached me and asked me to listen to a few new songs. So, I agreed and was listening to them when Nick came back." Melly smirked. "And! And!" Valley said sitting up. "Well...Nick thought Ethan was alittle too close for comfort and pulled me away. Then they got into a lil spat over who I want and Nick shoved the ring in his face." Melly laughed. "Oh!" Val laughed, "That's Nick for ya!" "So, how was your night?" Melly asked Valley. "Ahh, amazing, beautiful, wonderful, great." Valley sighed. "That good, huh?" Melly giggled. "Yes...I wish it never had to end." Valley smiled. "Let's go ladies!" Nick came in the room to get 'em moving, "We gotta make a quick stop at the record company to meet your new opening act for the tour and then we are gonna go do some wedding shopping." "Okay, we're ready." Melly said as her and Val stood up and followed the boys to the car. "Who's the new act?" Val asked on the way there. "I dunno...these two guys." Brian said as the pulled up to the record company.
~At the Record Company~
"Okay, let's go meet these guys and get out of here quick." Nick said as he kissed Melly. "You guys just wait here, we'll be out in a few." Brian kissed Val before they walked in the room to meet Kevin, AJ, Howie, the rest of the JIVE crew, and the new opening act. "So, where are these guys?" Nick asked impatiently. "Give them a few minutes, Nick." A JIVE manager said. "Hey, look, we meet again." Ethan said coming up behind Melly. "Valerie, nice to see you again." Jason smiled looking Val up and down. "What are you guys doing here?" Ethan asked never taking his eyes off Melly. "Just waiting for Nick and Brian to get out of their meeting. And you?" Melly asked avoiding his eyes. "We have a meeting to go to as well....we better go." Jason said. "Maybe we'll see you ladies later." Ethan said as they walked down the hall. "I can see why Nick was protective now. Man, Ethan wants you." Val told her friend. "Yeah, and Jason wouldn't mind you either." Melly laughed. "We just gotta keep them away." Valley laughed. "Oh, here they are." Their manager stood up as Ethan and Jason entered the room. "Oh Hell no!" Nick jumped up. "I gotta tour with him?!" Ethan pointed at Nick. "You two know each other?" Their manager asked. "Yeah, he's an asshole." Nick pointed at Ethan. "Look who's talking!" Ethan snapped back. "Alright, you two better knock this off before the tour begins in 3 weeks." The manager yelled. "Fine." Nick sat down. "Okay." Ethan pulled up a chair. They sat there and talked for a few minutes. When it was over, Nick and Brian headed back to Mel and Val, when Ethan yelled to him. "Hey Nick!" Ethan yelled. "What?!" Nick turned around. "I saw Melly before...damn, she looks better than last night." He smiled. Nick ran back up to him and grabbed his shirt, "If you lay a fuckin' hand on her while we are on this tour...you will seriously live to regret it." Ethan just stood there laughing with Jason as Nick and Brian returned to the girls. "Who's the opening act?" Val asked. "Ethan and Jason." Brian said. "Oh, for real?" Melly asked as her and Val exchanged glances. "Unfortunately." Nick yelled, "Let's get out of here." The four of them began to leave as Ethan and Jason watched. "See'ya on tour ladies." They yelled, with smirks on their faces, down the hall.
