As he fell asleep all Nick could think about was whether Melissa was having an affair with Ethan. The doubt was heavy in his mind but there was one part of him that still felt uneasy about it.
~The Next Morning~
Val woke up first and ordered room service for Brian, Nick, Melly and herself. As she hung up the phone Melly walked in the door. "Did you take my Storm Watch CD?" Melly asked. "No, why would I?" Val answered brushing her hair. "I dunno, but I can't find it anywhere. I was listening to it last night but maybe I put it away or something." Melly said thinking about last night. "I'm sure you didl. I just ordered breakfast so go wake up Nick." Valley said giving Brian a kiss to wake him up as Melly left to get Nick.
"Hey babe." Brian said opening his eyes. "Breakfast is on the way." Val whispered softly. "Hmm, ok. I'll get in the shower then." Brian said standing up. "And put some clothes on!" Val said slapping is ass. "Pushy, pushy!" Bri said sarcastically. "I just don't want Melly to see this side of you." Val joked back. "Oh, and what side is that?" Brian asked continuing on his way to the bathroom. "My favorite side!" Val laughed back grabbing his ass again. Brian just smiled and got into the shower.
~Melly~
On her way back to her room, she saw Billy in the hallway. "Hey Billy! I wanted to thank you for bringing us home last night." Melly said. "No problem. That's my job." Billy said back. "The weirdest thing happened after you dropped us off...." Melly began but was interrupted by Billy saying, "You guys were OK aren't ya?" "Oh, yeah, we're just fine. It's just that I was listening to my music and then I woke this morning and couldn't find it anywhere." Melly explained. "Hmm, I'll look through the guys' stuff to make sure no one was in your room and stuck something in there." Billy said taking charge of the situation as he always does. "Thanks Billy!" Melissa said continuing on her way to her room.
"NICKY!" Melissa yelled as she opened the door to her room. "What is it babe?" Nick yelled back from in the bedroom. "Val ordered us breakfast. We're supposed to meet them in their room. Are ya dressed?" Melissa asked as she went into the bedroom. "Uh, yeah, yeah I am." Nick said stumbling around as she entered. "What were you doing?" Melly asked suspiciously. "Nothing, I was uh, nothing." Nick said nervously. Melly could tell he was lying. She knew because ever time he lies, his lip twitches just a little on the lower left side. "What are you holding behind your back?" Melissa asked stepping towards him. "I don't have anything." Nick said dropping the item he had in his hand hoping Melly wouldn't notice. "Nick, I knew you were hiding something. You just dropped it. What was it?" Melly was getting slightly pissed off now. "Nothing! I have nothing!" Nick yelled back. "Nickolas Gene Carter!" Melly screamed picking up what Nick dropped. "You took my CD!" Melissa gasped at what Nick had. "You shouldn't have bought it in the first place." Nick argued. "It's a CD! That's all. Would you be as mad if I had a Limp Bizkit CD? Would you have been pissed that I was going after Fred Durst? You're just a jealous bastard!" Melly screamed then left the room. She left Nick standing in the hotel room. Thinking, Nick went onto the balcony. "I know that she loves me and wouldn't leave me but why would she buy the CD if she didn't feel something, anything, for Ethan?" He thought.
~Valerie and Brian~
"OK, where's that breakfast?" Brian asked coming out of the bathroom. "I don't know. It's been a while, I'm going to go down and check." Val said buttoning up her shirt. "Wait a sec and I'll come down with ya." Brian said putting his socks on. "Oh you don't have to, I'll be just fine. It shouldn't take too long. Be right back." Valerie said closing the door behind her.
Val began to sing quietly as she walked down the stairs. "And I don't want the world to see me, cause I don't think they'd understand, when everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am." She sang a couple lines from the Goo Goo Dolls' song 'Iris'. "Hey that was great!" A voice said from her left. "Uh, thanks." Val replied not seeing who complimented her. It was Jason. "You should pursue a deal." Jason said catching up to her. "I don't want to sing. It was just quiet, that's all." Val denied she had talent. "Thanks anyway though." She added as she approached the front desk. "No, wait listen. Why don't you come up to my room and we can 'discuss' this if you know what I'm saying." Jason said. "No Jas, you're drunk and no! I'd never cheat on Brian!" Val said sternly and then slapped Jason.
Meanwhile Melissa went outside to think by herself. "I love Nick alot, I mean I'm engaged for God's sake, but I am attracted to Ethan for some reason. He reminds me of someone I use to know." She thought. "But Its like: Ethan, How Did I Fall In Love With You?" She said aloud without knowing the he had just walked out the door behind her. "Did you say what I think you said?" Ethan asked. "Wha? Oh my, you didn't hear that did you?" Melissa said. "I thought you said you feel in love with me." Ethan stepped closer to her. "I did, no, I didn't. I dunno." Melly said confused. "Then will you explain to me what you meant?" Ethan asked.
