~Melly & Ethan~
"I dunno what I meant!" Melly started to cry, "I'm just so confused." "Aw, relax babe. I'm here for you." Ethan said putting his arm around her as they sat down on the bench. "That's the problem!" Melly said pulling away from him, "You’re always popping up around me! Everytime I go to think alone...you find me. Anytime I'm away from Nick...you come and call me "sweetie" and kiss me!" "I'm sorry. It's just that I really like you. I wanna be with you." Ethan said to her, "And you just said yourself that you loved me." "Well...i'm not gonna lie. I do feel something for you but It's not love. You remind me someone...and i'm drawn to you because of that. That's why I brought your CD." "How do you know you don't love me?" He asked touching her again. "Because you don't give me the same tingles that Nick does everytime I just hear his voice, see his smile, see him enter a room, or when he touches me. I don't dream about you...I'm not engaged to you. You just need to disappear! Nick and I were prefect and then you had to come in my life! Ugh, leave us alone!" Melly screamed as Ethan sat there stunned. "I get the point! I'm not good enough for a princess like you. Good-bye." He said as he walked away. "Ethan, i'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." Ethan cut her off. "Save it!" He said to her as he disappeared into the hotel. "Great, now two guys are angry at me! I just better go to breakfast." Melly said standing up and going into the hotel.
~Valerie and Jason~
"What the hell was that for?!" Jason said holding his face. "You know why! You and Ethan have done nothing but try to steal Melly & I from Nick and Brian! I'm so tired of it! Grow up!" Valerie said as they receptionist returned the desk. "Sorry for the delay, Miss Lachean. The food is being delivered as we speak." The receptionist said. "Thank-you." Val said as she headed for the elevators. "My room is on the 8th floor." Jason said coming up behind her. "It's gonna be on the ground floor...if you don't back the hell up!" She yelled. "Ah, playing hard to get. Jason likes." He smiled. Without further hesitation, Valerie kicked Jason where the sun wasn't shining. "And there is more where that came from!" She said as the elevator doors closed. She last saw Jason on the floor in pain. "Ah, I feel good." Valerie laughed. "Damn little bitch." Jason whined as Ethan approached them. "What happened to you?" Ethan said helping him up. "Valerie." Jason simply said. "Yea, Melly just kicked me while I was down to." Ethan sighed, "Payback is gonna be a bitch for those two."
~At Breakfast~ ~
"Are they coming for breakfast or what?" Brian asked Val as they sat down to eat. "I guess so." Val said as she heard their hotel room door open and close. "Hey man...where's Melly?" Brian asked Nick who came in alone. "I dunno." He simply said. Brian and Valerie exchanged glances with each other and then back at Nick who just started to dig in to breakfast. "You dunno?" Brian asked. "Nope." Nick said between bites. "And that doesn't concern you?!" Valerie jumped in. "Not really." Nick said still not making eye contact with them. "Nick, man, what's going on?" Brian asked all concerned. "Nothing." He said. "Nick, stop with the one word answers and look at us!" Valerie said getting impatient. "Okay, What?!" Nick said look up at them with his sad filled eyes. "Aw, Nicky, what happened between you two?" Valerie said getting quiet. "Uhmm...we had a fight." He mumbled, "I found the CD of Ethan's band that she had and we got into a lil' argument." "Oh my...maybe I should go look for her." Valley said sitting up. "Don't worry...she's prolly just downstairs thinking." Brian said to his girl. "Hey Guys...sorry I'm late." Melly said entering the room. They all noticed that she had been crying. "It's okay girl...eat up." Valerie said serving her a plate. "Yeah, Val...can we talk outside?" "Sure, let's go." Val said going outside with her, leaving the boys alone to talk also.
~Nick & Brian~
"She called me a jealous bastard." Nick said dropping his fork to the plate. "And...She's right. I'm always over-protective of her...Ethan is just a friend and what's wrong with her having his CD, right? I love her and she loves me! That's all that matters!" Nick said standing up. "Yeah, man." Brian nodded, "You gotta relax especially if your gonna be married." "Yes, I do. I can't lose her. She's all I've loved and known for years." Nick smiled. "Exactly, Nicky. That's why you two need to talk after the girls are done." Brian said, "But for now, let's eat!" "I second that!" Nick laughed thinking everything was gonna be okay.
~Valley & Melly~
"So, what's up honey?" Val asked as they sat down in the hallway. "I'm scared." Melly simply said. "Scared of Nick?" Val said. "No, not him...of getting married." Melly whispered. "What?! You need to explain this more for me." Val said confused. "Nick and I have been together for since forever. We were friends before lovers and now we're gonna be husband & wife." Melly said. "And the problem is where?" Val asked. "We're all each other has known and depended on. So, What if I'm not a good enough wife for him? What if I am a terrible mother to our children?" Melly cried out. "Mel, stop thinking like that! He loves you and you love him! End of story!" Valerie comforted her. "Yeah, I guess your right." Melly sighed and wiped her tears.
