~In the Chapel~
"Please tell me that my mother is not behind us?" Melly whispered to Val. "Ok, I won't, I'll just tell you that Nick's mom and your mom are behind us." Val smirked. "Shit, Let's go!" Melly said grabbing Val's hand, running in the chapel and slamming & locking the door behind them. "Melissa! You just slammed the door on them!" Val yelled. "She slammed the door on who?" Nick asked. "Our moms." Melly looked at him, "They found out again!" "No way...damn, they are good." Nick laughed looking at their moms through the peephole. "You just can lock them out there!'" Brian said. "Yes, we can, but only for a little bit....we'll go get married...then let 'em in!" Nick said walking from the door towards Melly, "Are you ready?" "Of course." She smiled up at him. "Guys, think about this..." Brian said being the sweet guy he is, "You're leaving your moms out of the most important day of our lives!" "Yea, they will be quite upset." Val chimed in. "So, they'll get over it, we're going this right now." Nick said taking Melly's hand and going into the wedding area.
~Outside the Chapel~
"Did she just slam that door in my face?!" Bette asked Jane. "Yes, she did." Jane said upset. "Now how are we gonna stop this?!'" Bette yelled. "I dunno, Here comes their friends, maybe they can help." Jane yelled, " Ethan, Jason...hurry!" "What happened?" Ethan said to Bette & Jane. "They locked us out and we need to get in there quick!" Bette said excitedly. "Ha, you better, their prolly getting married right now." Jason laughed as Bette & Jane stared at him. "Jas, keep quiet, we need a miracle now." Ethan said as a priest approached them. "Can I help you?" the priest said as he walked up the stairs to his chapel. "Yes, father, we're trying to stop a wedding that is taking place right now." Ethan said. "We'll just go in and make it known the priest conducting the ceremony." the priest said. "We'd love to...but the happy couple locked us out." Jane said pulling on the door to show it was locked. "Oh, one of these situations, I have a key." the priest said pulling it out of his pocket. "Oh, Thank God!" Bette yelled.
~The Wedding~
"Are you guys gonna be our witnesses or not?" Melly turned back to Brian and Val. "Of course." Bri & Val said in unison, "What are best friends for!" "Great!" Melly yelled. "Is the couple and their witnesses ready?" the presiding priest asked. "We definitely are." Nick said as him and Brian walked to the altar. The organist began the music and Val walked down to altar as a bridesmaid. Finally, the wedding march started and Melly walked down to a smiling Nick and linked arms with him. "Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today to join Melissa Stanford and Nickolas Carter in Holy Matrimony." The priest began.
~The Moms, Ethan, Jason, and the Priest~
"Hurry! I just heard the wedding march!" Bette said getting nervous. "I am doing the best that I can, Ma'am." the priest said putting the key in the lock. "What are you guys gonna say?" Ethan asked. "I dunno, we'll think about it when we get in there." Jane looked at him. "We can just say we object to this wedding." Bette said loudly. "I don't think that is just reason to stop a wedding.'" Ethan said as they door opened. "Thank-you, Father." Bette smiled at him. "No Problem, just walk through those doors." The priest said pointing to the room Nick & Melly were getting married in. They all proceeded to the room.
~Back at the Wedding~
Melly and Nick were halfway through the shortened ceremony. "If there is anyone that objects to these two not being joined together, speak now or forever hold your peace." the priest said looking around the room as the door barged open. "Stop! Stop this wedding!" Jane yelled as everyone ran in. "Yes, stop, we object!" Bette chimed in. "Mom! What are you doing?" Nick said quite upset. "How could you do this?" Melly started to cry. "We have to...it's not right. We want you to have a big, beautiful wedding." Bette said. "It can be whatever you want, just don't do this to us." Jane begged. "I'm sorry, but that is not just reason for me to stop this wedding, It must go on." the priest said, "Unless the couple or anyone else object." Nick and Melly both mouthed 'I'm Sorry' to their mothers and turned back to the priest to finish the ceremony. "Wait!" Ethan made himself known, "I object!" "Ethan?!" Melly & Nick said. "Man, what the hell are you doing here?" Nick said getting quite angry. "I'm objecting to this wedding." Ethan smiled at Nick making him even madder. "On what grounds?" the priest asked. "On the grounds...uhm, that I'm in love with Melissa and....and she's in love with me." Ethan said as everyone grew quiet. "I don't love you!" Melly screamed. "Yes, remember, you said, "Ethan, How Did I Fall In Love With You." Ethan said. "Yea..." Jason said, "You did Melly...and you're cheating on Nick to!" "I am not! You guys better just get out!" Melly cried. "Oh that's right..." Jason smirked, "It's Val that's doing the cheating on Brian." "What?!" Brian yelled. "That's not true! What is your guys problem?!" Val screamed. "We're just stating the truth." Ethan smirked. "Is it true??" Nick asked staring at Mel and Val. "Yea, tell us ladies, are they telling us the truth??" Brian asked them again.
