"It started with what?" Kevin anxiously asked Brian, Val, Melly and Nick. They all just looked away, noOne wanted to spread around what they had been through. "Someone better speak up or we're...we're staying here and not going to eat!" Kevin stood up and yelled. "All right, all right cos...it all started when we got back from the first leg of the tour. To make a long story short...the four of us ordered dinner at Nick's and after Nick & I wanted to play B-ball." Brian stopped. "Yeah, so we made it seem like we were taking them somewhere special and when they saw a b-ball court, they got alittle upset." Nick finished for Brian. "Alittle?" Val laughed, "I was pissed! But Ethan and Jason helped me get you back. Little did we know...they would cause so much trouble." "The guys that left the tour, the other day, so suddenly?" Howie asked. "Yup...that's them." Melly joined in, "They're in jail for a whole bunch of stuff." "Say what?!" AJ squealed. "It's true, Ethan was stalking Melly since the day of the b-ball incident. He even had her kidnapped for a bit, he stopped our wedding, he punched me, and if that all wasn't enough, he tried to kill Brian! Jason was his servant, who was after Val..." Kevin interrupted Nick. "What the fuck was going on?! How come you all didn't tell us?!" Kevin screamed. "We didn't want you to worry about it and get involved. But believe us, it's all taken care of now." Val told Kevin to calm him. "That is some crazy shit...anything else?" AJ asked. "Well...Val and I are married." Brian announced as Kevin's jaw dropped. Howie & AJ heard earlier...but it was a surprise for Kevin. "Wait a second, Is that why Melly & Val not talking?" Kevin asked. "How'd you know?!" Nick asked. "Please...we usually have to peel those two apart...always chatting...now they are 3 rooms apart." "I'll tell you why.." Melly spoke up, "They got married without us!" "You left them out of it?" Kevin asked shocked. "Not on purpose, we thought they'd got married without us!" Val yelled towards Melly. "But we would never do that!" Melly glared at Val, "It was just to trick Ethan...ah! If you didn't jump to conclusions, you would've know the truth!" All the Boys sat and watched as Melly & Val went back and forth at each other. "I thought my BEST friend would be happy for me...instead of acting like a baby!" Val stood up from Brian's lap. "Oh God, not again..please!" Brian glanced at Nick, who was thinking the same thing. "I'm not your friend anymore, remember?!" Melly said standing up, "I could care less what you do!" "I couldn't care either!" Val snapped back. "God, we better sort this out in the morning because I'm about to lose it." Kevin rubbed his head. "Good idea!" Nick quickly jumped in. He was relieved no more of their business would be shared and the girls won't kill each other right now. "Ya know...Kev is right. I don't feel like talking to you anymore right now." Melly finished as her cell phone rang. She walked away to answer it. "Guys, I'm so sorry I asked that stupid question." Kevin apologized as he still rubbed his head. "Don't sweat it." Nick half smiled before turning to see who Melly was talking to down the hall.
"Hello?" Melly answered. "Melissa?" her father answered back. "Yea, daddy! What's up? I miss ya!" Melly said cheerfully. "Nothing good, I'm afraid, sweetie." Her father lowered his voice, "Is Nick there with you?" "Yes, yes he is...why daddy?" Melly asked getting nervous. "Sweetheart, I need to tell you something..." he father trailed off and she could hear sobbing. "Daddy? What's going on? You're really scaring me!" Melly said as she got the chills. "Sorry, I guess there is no easy way to tell you this...Melissa, there's been an accident." Her dad spilled out. "Wha...what kind of accident? Melly managed to say as tears began in her eyes. "A car accident...your mom and grandma were in the car." her father began, "Nana was killed instantly but mom is still alive. She is pretty injured though." Melissa dropped the phone and stood there in shock. "Nooo! OMG! NO!" She screamed as she fell to the floor crying."Melissa!" Nick yelled as he went running to her, "Baby, what's wrong?!" Nick tried to talk to her, as the others gathered around, but she just kept on rocking herself as she cried on the floor. "Who is this?" Nick picked up the phone. "Nick? This is Mr. Stanford." Her dad answered. "Mr. Stanford, what happened?! Melly is hysterical!" Nick asked concerned about his fiancée. "There was an accident...her grandmas was killed and her mom is pretty injured." Mel's dad finished as Nick dropped the phone and now understood why Melly was a mess. He immediately grabbed her in his arms, "It'll be okay, I promise. Just relax, baby, relax." "Nick...Oh...my..Nick..." Melly managed to say through her tears as he hugged him tight, "I can't lose both of them...My nana, my mom." "Her grandma was killed in an car accident and her mom is badly hurt." Nick told everyone as they stood around. "Oh god!" Val gasped as she began to cry into Brian's arms. "Nick, what's going on? Is my daughter all right?" Melly's dad yelled from the phone. Val heard it and picked it up, "Mr. Stanford...this is Val." she said to Mel's Dad. "Valerie, is Mel ok?" he asked. "Well, she's truly a mess...but she has Nick and...me, her best friend, right now. We'll get her through it." Val said without thinking twice. "She's lucky to have all of you...you guys are a second family to her." Her father told Val, "Thank-you for that." "Please, don't even thank me, that's what friends are for." Val sobbed. "Can I speak to her again?" Her dad asked. "Yea...lemme hand the phone to Nick." Val said, "Nick, he wants to talk to her again." "Babe, your Dad wants to talk to you again." Nick said as he lifted Melly's head from his shoulder and handed her the phone. "Daddy...oh Daddy.." Melly sobbed. "Sweetie, we'll get through this...stop crying and relax." Her dad re-assured her. "Ok, I'm come home...first flight out. I gotta be there for my you and my sisters." Melly said wiping her tears and standing up. "Baby, sleep on it tonight and fly out tomorrow." Her dad told her. "No, daddy, I'm coming tonight!" Melly said loudly. "Fine, you're just like you're mom, call me with the flight plans, ok?" he asked. "I will...and Daddy, I love you and my sisters. Tell mom she's gonna be fine and I love her." Melly sobbed. "Bye sweetie and sleep on your flight, ok?" Her dad ordered. "I'll try, bye Daddy." Melly hung up. Melly looked at all the sad faces around her and Nick on a cell phone. "I know I speak for all of us, when you say we're extremely sorry for everything you're going through." Brian said as he hugged her. "Yea, Melly, I love you girl...lemme come with you to Jersey." Val sincerely said. "I'd like that." Melly went over and hugged Val. "Not necessary Val..." Nick hung up his phone, "I'm going with her. We leave in 4 hours." "Baby, I love you for making the plans for me...and I want you to come with me...but you can't." Melly smiled at Nick, "You just kicked off this tour, you can't disappoint all your fans." "Just a few days, they'll be fine without me, you need me more." Nick wiped her tears. "No, I'd feel even worst knowing I helped break a bunch of girls hearts." Melly hugged Nick, "Val will go with me. She knows my family just as well as you and I do...I'll be fine, promise." "Listen to her Nick, they can call in everyday, second, whatever...and we have 2 days off coming up, remember? We can go to Jersey and join them." Brian tried to reason with Nick. "No, I need to be with you, Mel." Nick wiped her tears, "You can't be alone now." "Hello? And what am I...chop liver?!" Val said lightening up the situation and bringing a smile to Mel's face. "No, I didn't mean that....just she needs love that you can't provide." Nick smiled at Melly, "like my personal touch." "And what's so good about that?!" Val asked as Melly & Nick smirked, "Wait! I don't wanna know!" "Good idea, Val, we could have been in trouble there." Brian laughed, "So, you staying, Nick?" Nick glanced down at Melly who nodded it was okay and then said, "Okay, Val will go with her...I'll stay on tour." "Let's go pack up...Billy yelled the van was here before Melly screamed." Brian ushered them all out.
~At the Hotel~
~Brian & Val~
"First full night as my wife and you're leaving." Brian sighed. "I know baby...but I can't leave her alone...even after what she's said to me the pass few days." Val frowned, "Besides if Nick went...can you imagine the chaos with the tour?" "Yeah, I know. It's the best situation for us all." Brian hugged Val, "You're a great gal, ya know that?" "Stop...I'm nothing spectacular." Val blushed. "Yes, you are spectacular...who else would drop everything to fly across the country with a friend she's been a war with?" Brian smiled. "She needs a friend...I'm her friend no matter how much I insisted I wasn't." Val said, "Hopefully, this trip can bring us back to where we were." "Oh, I hope so...Nick & I can't take much more of this bickering." Brian sighed. "Me either...well, I think I got everything." Val said. "All right, let's go get Nick & Melly and get to that airport." Brian said opening the door.
~Nick & Melly~
"Are you sure you don't want me to come?" Nick pouted. "Hun, it's not that I don't want you to come...I'd love to have you with me...but you can't! Management would flip out!" Melly explained. "I know, dammit, I should be there for you!" Nick yelled. "Stop beating yourself up over this...you're always there for me...and like Brian said, you can come for 2 days." Melly smiled at him. "And your father will love that...separate bedrooms and everything." Nick pouted again. "Oh, we got away with it last trip." Melly giggled. "Oh, yea...your room on that rainy night." Nick smirked. "Oh, I love you." Melly kissed him. "I better savor that...it might be my last for a week." Nick joked. "Yea, yea....well, I'm ready to head home." Melly sighed. Nick and Melly headed to the hallway to meet Brian & Val. "You guys ready?" Nick asked Brian. "Yea, man...and the vans downstairs." Brian motioned to the elevator. "Great." Nick said as the four got on the elevator to head for the van that would take them to the airport.
~Airport~
"Flight 637 to Newark, NJ will begin boarding in 10 mins. All ticketed passengers please be ready to board, so we may leave on-time, thank-you." The young women at the gate announced. "10 minutes." Nick and Brian sighed as they held their girls tight. "Well...we all better say our goodbyes." Brian looked at the others.~Brian & Val~"I love you so much, my wife." Brian whispered in her ear. "I love you too, my husband." Val whispered back. "God, I'm gonna miss seeing your beautiful face for a week." Brian smiled. "I'm gonna miss you like crazy...but I'll call everyday, promise." Val said as she kissed him. "You better...or I might lose my mind." Brian laughed. "Don't because someone needs to keep Nick together once Melly leaves...poor boy ain't getting no loving for week." Val laughed. "Oh God, your right, he's gonna be a handful." Brian sighed, "Anyways, I love you." "You said that already." Val blushed. "I know...but I'm saying it again." Brian said as the two began to kiss. ~Nick & Melly~"I love you." Nick said as he looked into her eyes. "I love you too." Melly smiled. "God, this is gonna be the longest week of my life." Nick frowned. "Aww, babe...I'll miss you too. But I'll call, e-mail, fax...everything, every minute of every day." Melly told him as she played with his hair. "You don't have to...because I'll be calling you every second." Nick joked before he kissed her. "Yea, I don't doubt you....oh, I dunno if I can take this..." Melly trailed off as she began to cry again. "Sweetie, relax...it'll be okay." Nick rubbed her back as she cried into him. "I hate to fly as it is...and then thinking of my family back home...it's all hitting me now!" Melly cried louder. "That's it...I'm going with you!" Nick yelled. "No, no...Val is here. She'll help me relax...she'll just knock me out or something on the plane." Melly said becoming calm again for Nick. "You sure? Because I will go buy another ticket right now." Nick said as he pushed her hair out of her eyes. "Yea, I just needed to cry again...I'll be fine, I swear." Melly was lying. She was a mess inside but if Nick knew...he'd go and ruin the tour. She didn't want the negative publicity again. "All right....Kiss me again." Nick smiled, "I need that one last time." The two began to kiss."Flight 637 will now began boarding w/ first class." the women announced. "That's us." Val said aloud. "I love you." Brian & Val said as they hugged each other. "And I love you." Melly & Nick said as they embraced. The girls pulled away from Nick and Brian and headed to the gate. They turned back, blew them a kiss, and with that, they boarded the plane.
