Chapter 22:

~Meanwhile w/ AJ & Ally~

AJ and Ally decided to go for a walk on the beach and began to talk about all the things that have happened in the short time that they’ve known each other.

“We’ve been through so much together.” Ally smiled at AJ, “I mean, I shared my very special gift with you.”
“And I’ll cherish it always.” AJ said squeezing her hand.
“That night, my God, I’ll remember it forever…I mean, eternity.” Ally said as she got lost in AJ’s brown eyes and before she knew it, they were kissing.
“Now, that was beautiful.” AJ laughed, “But that’s not the only thing we’ve been through.” AJ said as they continued to walk.
“Oh, of course not…this whole Nick, Brian and Katie ordeal too.” Ally sighed, “Do you think everything will work out between them?”
“Yeah, Brian is a good man…he can handle the situation. And Katie will need to be extra strong, if this baby is Brian’s and she lives with Nick.” AJ said.
“I hope so…Thank you.” Ally smiled.
   “For what?” AJ asked.
“For being the caring person you are…and doing all you could to help my best friend.” Ally kissed his cheek.
“Oh, stop, we’re all friends…well, family now.” AJ smiled, “It really makes you think, huh? About the future and stuff…” AJ trailed off.
“What are you talking about?” Ally questioned as she realized AJ wasn’t walking next to her. She turned around to see AJ on bended knee.
“I’m talking about this…” AJ began to say, “Allyssa Rolston, I know we haven’t been together for what people would consider a very long time, but I know what I feel for you is real. I don’t ever want to give that up.” AJ stopped to look up at her, “All of this has taught me just how fragile and fleeting love can be and I don’t ever wanna lose you. I know you love me, but do you think you could be able to love me for the rest of your life? Like I will love you for the rest of mine…marry me?”
   “Oh, hell yes!” Ally screamed.
“Ok, that wasn’t the response I was expecting…but I’ll take it as a yes.” AJ laughed.
“Oh God, I’m so sorry.” Ally laughed, “Yes, I will marry you and love you for the rest of my life.”
“Hell yes!” AJ laughed as he picked her up and spun her in the air. He slowly began to bring her back to the ground but not before kissing her. The two fell to the sand and the rest was history.

~Brian and the others~

“You okay buddy?” Kevin asked Brian as him and Howie entered the honeymoon suite.
“Uhm, yes, I’m fine.” Brian said holding a gift box in his hand.
   “What’s that?” Howie asked.
“This, this is , well was Katie’s wedding present.” Brian sighed, “She would have loved it…but now she can’t ever see it.”
“Man, I’m sorry for asking.” Howie apologized.
“Nah, don’t be…I made this decision and I have to deal with it.” Brian said starting to pack his things.
“What are you doing?” Kevin asked his cousin.
“I’m coming to bunk with you.” Brian smiled, “I’m letting Katie have this room with…uhm, Nick.”
“Ah, great.” Kevin laughed, “Kristin has to leave in about an hour anyway…plenty of room in my suite.”
“Oh, where’s she off to?” Howie asked.
“She got a part in that independent film out in LA.” Kevin smiled proudly if his wife.
“Nice, we’ll I’m going to take Kavan out to dinner…I think we may have something here.” Howie smiled.
“Good luck man.” Brian and Kevin said as he left.
“Here’s the key to my room…just come in whenever. I gotta go take my wife to the airport.” Kevin said leaving.
“Thanks. I owe you.” Brian said.
“Anytime…Bye.” Kevin said as he left.

Brian took one last looked at the honeymoon suite and wondered what Katie was up to right now.

“She should be here!” He yelled, “Brian get a hold of yourself…it’s over.” He said as he grabbed his stuff and left the room as quickly as he could.

~At the Airport~
   ~Katie~

“Private jets!” Katie yelled at an airport official.
“What?” the gentlemen looked at her.
“Where do private planes take off?!” Katie yelled again.
“Ah, the other side of the airport.” He said.
“Oh, Thank you.” Katie said as she began to run through the crowds.
“Miss, wait!” The airport official drove up next to her in a golf cart, “Get in, I’ll take you on a short-cut in the cart.”
“Oh, God, thank you.” Katie said as she climbed in.

The airport official sped through the airport and soon enough they reached the private jets area.

“Just go to the desk and you’ll get all the information you need.” He said to Katie.
“Thanks once again!” Katie yelled as she ran to the desk.
“Hello…can I help…” Katie cut the women off.
"Nick Carter! Where is he?" Katie yelled.
"Ah, I can't give that information out." The women said.
"Listen lady, I need to know and I need to know now! So, just shove your rules up you're ass and tell me!" Katie yelled getting frustrated.
"Calm down miss, all I can tell you is that he is scheduled to leave tonight."
"Well, duh! I wouldn't be here if he wasn't! What gate?!" Katie snapped.
"Listen lil' Miss Princess Bride, I can't tell you, so buzz off before I call security." The women yelled back to her.
"Ah, bitch." Katie mumbled as she turned around and began to walk past an old guy.
"Hey, does your Nick have blonde hair?" He asked.
"Yes, yes he does! Why?" Katie asked the old man.
"He went down gate 4...like 5 minutes ago." He told her.
"Oh my God, Thank you so much." Katie said kissing the man on the cheek before running for the gate.
"Girl, you can't go down there!" The women at the desk screamed.
“Shut-up!" Katie yelled as she kept going.
"Son of a bitch...security!" The women yelled.

Katie continued to run down the tarmac, when she saw a figure make a turn into a plane, it was Nick.

"Nick! Nick! Please wait!" She yelled as she never stopped running and Nick stopped in his tracks.
"Oh God, Nick, you're losing it." Nick said aloud, "She's not calling out your name."
"Nicky! Nick!" Katie continued to yell as Nick climbed in the plane.
"Hey, look at the bride." The pilot laughed over at Nick.
"Bride?" Nick said looking out the window, "Katie?!" He said as he went to the door of the plane and heard her call out his name.
"Nick, please don't go!" Katie yelled just as she saw Nick come from the plane.
"Katie, oh my God, you're really here!" Nick said running to meet her.
"Oh, there is a God, he heard me." Katie smiled as she stopped running in her wedding dress to catch her breath.
"Baby, you okay?" Nick said hugging her.
"Uhuh, thank the Lord you heard me before you left!" Katie looked up at him.
"Why are you here?" Nick had to ask.
"Because I love you." Katie said to him.
"I know, I love you too, but Brian? The wedding?" He asked never letting her go.
"He heard us talking before the wedding and stopped the wedding. He said I needed to be happy and I'm the happiest when I am with the one I truly love, which is you." Katie said to a smiling Nick, "So he told me to come here and get you after we talked and here I am and Nick, I was so close earlier because everyone helped me and this one lady almost tried to stop me but this nice old man told me he saw a blonde go through gate 4 and they called security on me and..." Nick finally stopped her.
"Sssh!" Nick simply said before kissing her with all the passion he had inside and she kissed him back.
"What was I saying?" Katie said in shock.
"Uhm," Nick laughed, "Something about security."
"Yeah, security..." Katie started to say but they had arrived.
"You must come with us, ma'am." They told her.
"No, wait..." Nick began to beg, as John, the pilot, came over when he saw the commotion.
"Sweetheart, come give your daddy a hug." John winked at Katie.
"Daddy! These guys were gonna arrest me!" She said as she hugged John.
"John, we're so sorry, we didn't know." The security guys apologized as they left.
"Whew, thank-you." Katie said to the pilot.
"Yea man, I owe you." Nick said shaking his hand, "Oh, the plane trip!"
"Don't mention it, kids. You guys are too cute together...get out of here." John laughed, "Don't worry about the trip."
"Yea, sweetie, let's go back to the hotel." Katie smiled at hee man. She said that over in her head, he was hers.
"Ah, the beach at sunset...with my baby girl." Nick said picking her up in his arms,"We better go now because I can't  wait to be with you again."
"Me either." Katie smiled at him as he carried her up the gate.

They quickly arranged to get a car to pick them up and take them to the hotel...and to face Brian for the 1st time.
