:: Nick and Ashley ::
“Well, I really don't wanna talk right now,” Nick snapped at her, “I just wanna go home cuz I am tired.”
“I know what happened earlier...” Ashley began.
“Huh? What are you talking about?”
“Between you & Katie...”
“What are you talking about?” Nick continued to act all innocent.
“Oh Nick, C'mon, I know all about it.”
“How did you find out about it?” Nick said finally giving in.
“Allyssa told me.”
“What?! Why did she do that?”
“Because there is something else I have to tell you...”
“I swear I did nothing else!”
“No, it involves me.”
“Oh Ok, what is it?”
“I've been seeing my ex-boyfriend for the past month now.”
“You've what?!”
“Yes, we've decided that we wanna try to make it work this time--and with you in love with Katie...it's a prefect time to part ways.”
“You've been seeing your ex behind my back for a month!?”
“Yes, I'm not denying it...but you kissed Katie anyway, so why are you yelling at me?!”
“You still love her...So why aren't you happy that you can be with her?”
“Because she doesn't love me anymore. She obviously wants Brian now.”
“Oh please, I saw it in her eyes...when you guys were dancing. She loves you as much as you love her.”
“But regardless, she's with Brian now.”
“She doesn't have to be,” Ashley said starting trouble, “don't give up on her yet. She'll come back to you...Love like that never ends.”
“Yeah,” Nick smiled, “I hope you're right cause I really do love her, Ashley.”
“I know you do sweetie...Listen, I hope we can still be friends, Nick?”
“Of course...we'll always be friends. Thanks for helping me realize that I can't lose Katie again.”
“So, why don't you go get her then?”
“What...now?”
“Yeah! why not? There's no time like the present.”
“Ok. Thanks! Good Luck with Jason & everything.”
“Thanks! Good luck to you too. Now go get her!”
“Bye...I will!”
“Bye hun,” Ashley said as she watched Nick pull away.
Nick dropped her off and headed towards Katie's hotel.
:: Brian & Katie ::
“Hey,” Brian spoke, “I was hoping we could go back to my house and maybe take a dip in the hot tub...what do ya say?”
“Yeah,” Katie said as they arrived at Brian's house, “that sounds nice.”
“Let's go get changed...” Brian said pointing the bathroom.
“Oh, uhmm, Brian, I don't have a bathing suit.”
“Just take off your dress.”
“Excuse me?” Katie said in shock.
“Sorry, I didn't mean it like that...just wear your underwear.”
“Oh ok, “ Katie said as she pulls off her dress and stands waiting for Brian to return with the towels, “I'm ready!”
“Ok, I got the uhmm, the uhmm...”
“The towels.” Katie laughs.
“Yeah, those things,” Brian said, “let's just go to the hot tub.”
:: AJ, Ally, and Brie ::
“Ok here we are.” AJ said pulling into the hotel.
“Thanks for the ride AJ.” Brie said stepping out of the car.
“Sure...no problem.”
“Hey,” Ally spoke up, “what are you gonna do?”
“I dunno,” Brie mumbled, “I think maybe just go watch a movie or just go to bed.”
“Why don't you come with us...I don't wanna leave you all alone here.”
“No,” Brie noticed how uncomfortable AJ got when Ally asked her to join them, “I'll be ok. You guys go have fun, don't do anything I wouldn't do!”
“What would that be exactly?” AJ quickly asked as Ally & Brie look at him questioningly.
”Just wonderin' how much we can do thats all.”
“Ally knows...ok, well see'ya later guys.”
“Bye. See'ya!” Ally yells as AJ pulls out of the parking lot.
“So...where ya taking me?” She turns and asks him.
“It's a surprise.” He smirked.
“Okay,” Ally grinned, “I love surprises.”
Suddenly AJ pulls up into a deserted parking lot that leads into the beach. He shut the car off and went around to open Ally's door. He helped her out and took her hand as they walked through the sand right up to the water's edge.
“So,” AJ asked, “tell me about yourself.”
“Well, you know I'm from Jersey and you know I just graduated from High school...so what else do you wanna know?”
“Uhmm...are you going to college?”
“Yeah, of course. I'm still undecided though.”
“Oh that's good. So what are you deciding between?”
“Well, right now...The University of Central Florida and NYU.”
“Really? Are you leaning towards any one in particular?”
“Yeah, actually right now, I'm considering NYU.”
“NYU? why? I mean, its a good school but aren't you gonna miss Katie & Brie?”
“They won't be the only ones I'd miss...”
“Oh no? Who else?”
“Well, all you guys. You've all been so great with us. But there are always vacations & all. I can come to visit.”
“It's not the same. I think you should take more time to decide. You never know...something or someone might change your mind.”
“Who? I mean, it'd take somebody really special to...” Ally was interrupted by AJ's mouth kissing hers.
“....someone who kisses like that.”
”I'm glad. Now lemme start persuading you to stay here in Florida with me...and your friends.”
Hours passes & Ally & AJ were still kissing, talking and laughing in his car. They were interrupted though when AJ heard the song he'd requested earlier at the club: Joe's 'I Wanna Know'.
“What do you say we finish that dance from be4?” AJ suggested.
“I'd love to.” Ally smiled as AJ walked over to her side & took her by the hand and led her towards the front of the car where they danced and kissed some more.
“So, what do you wanna do now?” He asked.
“AJ, you know what I wanna do, but I don't think we should. Atleast not yet. I'm sorry.”
“No, Baby...there's no need to apologize. You're right, we should wait. Just lemme know when you're ready to.”
:: Flash to Nick ::
He knocks on hotel room door.
“Nick?! What are you doing here?” Brie asked surprisingly.
“Oh hey Brie, is Katie here?”
“Uhmm...actually no, she's not.”
“Can I come in?”
“Oh yeah...I'm sorry.”
“Do you know where she is?” Nick asked looking around.
“Well...If I'd have to guess...I'd have to say she's with Brian.”
“Oh God! Why? Why are they doing this to me?”
“What are they doing to you Nick?! You have a girlfriend remember? Something you seemed to have forgotten earlier today when you kissed Katie. Now my question to you is...What were you planning to do to her?!”
“What?! Nothing! I kissed Katie because I still have feelings for her from years ago. And when I saw her again it just made me realize that Ashley & I really don't belong together. Apparently, Ashley didn't think so either, she just told me that she's been seeing her ex-boyfriend for the past month. But, my intentions weren't to hurt her. I guess I just got caught up in the moment and I kissed her.”
“...But how could Brian do this to me?”
“Listen,” Brie asked Nick, ”if Brian wouldn't have told her, would you have?”
“Yes, I would've...eventually.”
“Eventually Nick? Do you even hear what you're saying? At least you should be happy that Brian is trying to keep her mind off the heartache you just caused her.”
“Heartache? I caused her...”
“Yes Nick. Do you know that ever since Allyssa & I met her we've begged her to call you so we could meet you guys and so they two of you could see each other...but she never wanted you to think she was trying to use you because you're famous now.”
“Yeah, I know.” She told me that.
“Well, did she also tell you that she's mentioned you everyday since she moved back to Jersey?”
“She has? OMG, I've really screwed things up now...What am I gonna do? Now she's with my best friend and I drove her to him.” Nick said as he collapsed onto the bed & starts to cry.
“Oh Nick,” Brie said as she walks over to his side and puts her arm on his back to console him, “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry...I was just telling you the truth.”
“I know. But...” Nick stopped and looked up & into Brie's eyes and without thinking twice he kissed her on the lips.
“Nick,” Brie whispered as they both fell onto the bed & began to tear away each other's clothes, “what are we doing?”
“Sshh,” Nick told her, “Please don't.”
:: About an hour later ::
They both laid there in bed, surprised about what they had just done.
“Maybe you should get going, you know before we get caught.” Brie told Nick.
“Yeah, you're right. Uhmm...Listen, I'm sorry. I hope you don't think I just used you...”
“Nick, that's exactly what you did. But I decided to let you. So, don't worry about it.”
“Thanks for...well, everything.”
“I feel like I should be thanking you.” She said as Nick got dressed and kissed her on the forehead before he leaves.
After he leaves Brie goes straight to the shower.
:: Meanwhile w/ Brian & Katie ::
“This feels so relaxing...it was a great idea Brian.”
“Yeah, it's great...especially with you.”
“Aww, thanks Brian.”
“C'mere, lemme massage your shoulders,” Brian suggested as Katie sat in front of him.
“Now that feels good.”
“I'm glad I could be of service...Can I tell you something?”
“Yes, of course.” Katie said as she turns to face Brian.
“Well, I'm not sure if you noticed or anything but I've got some feelings for you. And well, I know that you love Nick but you know he's with Ashley now and its no use being hung up on a guy that is with somebody else especially when there is a guy the loves you and is completely single right here in front of you.”
“You love me?” Katie asks as Brian nods his head and kisses Katie softly as he moves closer to her.
“Are you sure you wanna do this?”
“Yes,” She nodded her head, “please continue.”
Brian then lifts her and places her on the ledge of the tub. He stands in between her legs and starts kissing her body all over. He puts his hands along her back and caresses her as he made his kisses more passionate. Brian then got out of the water and helps Katie to stand up, then picks her up, and carries her like a baby to the hammock and lays her down gently before he climbs over her and assumes his position. Katie laid there in full view of him. Brian soaked in her beauty with his eyes. He couldn't believe how prefect she was...everything he'd always wanted in a girl and yet she was so much more than he'd ever dreamed of.
“Baby,” Brian suggested, “what do you say we take this upstairs. I don't want any of my nosy neighbors to see what we're up to.”
“Sounds good to me.” Katie smiled.
Brian picked Katie up into his arms as she wrapped her arms around his neck and wrapped her legs around his waist. He carried her all the way to his bedroom where the pleasure continued until they fell asleep into each other's arms.
:: AJ & Allyssa ::
“Thanks for a great ending to my first day here, AJ. And also thanks for waiting to...”
“Listen, I had a great time with you tonight and that's all that matters to me right now. What we may share between us sometime will be a precious gift that we'll never forget.”
“That was really sweet...and I couldn't agree with you more. That day we'll be the best day of my life.” Ally says as AJ pulls into the hotel parking lot and kisses her a few more times before she must go.
“....All right, I better go just in case Katie isn't back yet and Brie is all alone.”
“Yeah, it is getting late...But I'd love to spend tomorrow with you...what do ya say?”
“I wouldn't wanna spend my day any other way.”
“Sweet baby...I'll call ya tomorrow, well, later today,” he laughs, “and have a great night.”
“You too honey.” She smiled as AJ kisses her on the check before she stepped out of the car.
:: At the Hotel w/ Brie & Ally ::
“Hey Brie, you still up?” Ally yells but receives no answer.
“..Hello?!”
“Hello?! Ally, is that you?”
“Yeah, girl...what's up?”
“Not much...just got out of the shower. But I've got something to tell you.”
“Me too...hey, where's Katie?”
“I dunno...I think still w/ Brian.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yup...I'll be out in a minute...hold on.” Brie yells as she gets dressed and walks into the room where Ally is.
“....So, why the hell are you here? I thought you were going with AJ?”
“I was, I did...it was great.”
“Ok, I want details girl!”
“There really isn't anything exciting to say. We just hung out by the beach and talked...and kissed for a few hours.”
“You two kissed?”
“Yup, he's a great kisser.”
“Did you guys...??”
“No, No. You know me Brie...not on the first date.”
“ ....So, what did you do 2nite?”
“Oh, uhmm, watched some TV...talked to Nick when he stopped by to look for Katie and slept with him. And I...”
“What?! You slept with Nick?”
“It wasn't like we were in love or anything...he kinda just used me.”
“He used you? Brie, fill in the details cuz I am way confused.”
“Ok, Nick came here to talk to Katie cuz Ashley broke-up with him...”
“She told him?”
“Yeah, so he wanted to confess his love to Katie...but when I said she's prolly with Brian...he got all upset and everything...and I comforted him...then he kissed me and well, ya know.”
“So much for him loving Katie, huh?”
“No, he loves her so much, he just wanted to feel good and prolly thought getting with one of her best friends is the way to go since she is with his best friend.”
“Damn that's messed up yet understandable. Anyway, has Katie called yet?”
“Nope, no call...I'm sure she's with Brian though.”
“Yeah, me too. I hope she isn't doing anything stupid.”
“So do I. Well, I'm getting tired...so I'll see'ya in the morning.”
“Goodnight hun.”
“Nite.”
They head off to bed.
