The war isn't going to well, I guess it will never end. The battles are non stop. The Sargent is allowing me to go to the states since my grand father died. I can spend my last night with you. I miss you and I can't stand not being able to see your face. It maks me so mad that I can't be there for your senior year, but I promise I will be home for your road trip it will be something I will not miss. You should see it over here, America is beautiful, but yesterday when we wre hiking up a mountain the view was priceless. My best wishes to you and your family, and tell your friends hello for me. Missy hugged her friend in the hall way by their home room. They read the letter Amanda received in the mail the day before, but thought it better to open it with her friends. The first period bell rang so the students hurried into class. They entered the room and sat in the seats located in the back. Echo and Robin where infront of Missy and her self, while Nikki and Jame where off to the side. It was their last day of Math and they students of Mrs. Troutman's class gleamed with pride as she annouced they all had passed, after working hard. She went on as she always did telling stories of her senior year and how much fun college is and how proud she was on them. Amanda thought of her up coming night. The bell rang and since they had all their credits now except for two they had a blow of period, which they spent in the libaray and offices helping out. Amanda and Jame went to the middle school office, Missy and Nikki went to the high school office and Echo and Robin went to the libaray. When it was time for lunch the group all got together and headed to their usaul table.
" Amanda snap out of it." Echo said as she waved her hand over Amanda face.
" Oh huh? Sorry Echo...." She said giving a fake smile.
" Hey you guys leave the youngest alone!" Chris is coming home, they are gonna make out, have some fun, a little midnight cuddling." She said smiling.
" What are you girls talking about?" Mrs. Kemp said as she walked up to the table, handing the group a chocolate rose to each girl from the cheerleader and the victory of the girls basket ball team.
" Oh nothing ,just Amanda's b-f is coming home for the night from the war." Nikki said smling.
" Oh I see the giver of the promise ring?" She smiling at her finger and she took as Amanda took a drink of her pepsi. Amanda blushed and nodded. They said good bye and went back eating and chatting on.
" So any way the college is looking at an art scholarship, and they said that they are looking to see if they could find a publisher for our stories, I mean our books might get published."
" Wow , that is so cool, all that hard for you guys will pay off." Craig said as he gave Amanda and Missy a small hug.
