| This is what an 85 AMC Eagle engine compartment looks like from the factory. As you can see, its a mess. There must be a mile or so of Vacum lines under there. near as I can tell its all Emmission Realted, and Who knows How much of it is functioing. Much less leaking and making the thing run poorly anyway. In Air conditioned cars its even worse. The 258s seem to have been whacked pretty hard, and the Carter BBD that Adorns the Intake has a Bad rap for all the lines. Ive got some that run well (one truth to say-runs great) I have seen many run poorly. At one point I Decided to do a hack and chop- and remove msot fo those Obnoxious lines. Below is what I got. |
