DERBULER POTATO RAMEN |
Season Packet: sugar, wheat flour, red pepper powder, refined salt, fructose Spicyness: 4 Comment: I had trouble identifying this ramen. The entire package is in Korean. This is a ramen made with potatoes instead of the normal flour. There's no broth with this one. You drain the noodles and add the liquid season packet: The taste is sweet and hot and not much else. No vegetables are present. Overall: 3 |
DERBULER SPICY SEAFOOD |
Season Packet: hot pepper powder, salt, sugar Flake: seaweed, glucose, scallion, carrot, cuttlefish, shrimp Spicyness: 3 Comment: Yet again I am having trouble identifying this ramen. It seems to be made by the Derbuler company so I'll just call it that. My guess is spicy seafood flavor and I believe that is the flavor. The ramen is made with potatoes instead of wheat. The broth has a strong seafood flavor with a spicy bite to it. I'm not sure if some ingredients were omitted from the season packet list, but I suspect that it has more than 3 ingredients. There was a large amount of seaweed in the flake packet, which adds a lot of texture. Overall: 4 |
DERBULER VEGETABLE RICE RAMN |
Season Packet: salt, glucose Flake: onion, carrot, mushroom(also found seaweed in the mixture) Spicyness: 3 Comment: There is a link on the front of this ramen package for vegetarians. www.vegetus.or.kr The website is all in Korean, but what the heck check it out. So I assume this ramen is vegetarian friendly. Who knows. I have a hard time believing that the season packet is made up of just salt and glucose. The broth was spicy and had a vegetable taste to it. The flake mixture added to the texture. The noodles were made with rice and wheat and were chewy. Overall a pretty good ramen, but come on Debuler, list all the ingredients. Overall: 4 |
