NAMCHOW SHRIMP TOM YUM |
Soup Base: sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, lemon grass, citric acid, bergamot, welsh onion Liquid Pack: palm oil, chili powder Spicyness: 3 Comment: I have never heard of this company. Namchow is a company based in Thailand. The noodles are thin and brittle and common trait with ramen from Taiwan. The broth was sour and spicy with a hint of lemon grass. No shrimp flavor detected but then again there was none listed in the ingredient list. A tasty ramen from Namchow. Overall: 4 |
NAMCHOW PORK FLAVOURED |
Soup Base: sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, welsh onion Oil Packet: palm oil, scallion, garlic Spicyness: 3 Comment: Namchow is going to have to work on listing the ingridients for their ramen. I know there is more to the soup base than they listed. Are they keeping it a mystery? The noodles were thin and brittle and chewy, but fit the style of soup well. The broth was a lilttle spicy and oily. The oil packet was really the key to the broth. It provided a nice garlic flavor to the broth. As far as pork flavor, I didn't taste any. Regardless a good ramen. Overall: 4 |
