This ramen has rice noodles and the broth had a peppery taste. A meaty taste comes through along with the peppery taste. This came with fish in a retort pouch, so real pieces of fish!! The broth had a chicken type flavor, not fishy at all. The pieces of fish were great, but not enough of them. A little on the oily side but delicious. The only spicyness was from an occasional piece of chili pepper. I wish all ramen would come with real meat. Overall: 5 |

The broth with this one was actually to weak, not sure if there was not enough seasonings in my package, but I added the normal amount of water. Regardless, not much flavor. Mostly just a salty msgish flavor. The only veggies were green onion and some chili flakes. That added a little extra flavor but not enough to save this bowl. Overall: 2 |

A search on google turns up that phnom penh style noodles are a clear soup made with pork and garlic. Not sure this is the flavor since you have to drain the water off of the noodles and mix in the seasonings. These are always hard to mix up I usually end up leaving a little bit of the water to mix up the seasonings with to help make it easier to mix everything together. The noodles are made of rice which is a typical Vifon noodle and the flavor had a sweet, salty and a slight seafood. So maybe this is a seafood flavor rice bowl. At times a garlic flavor could be detected and the additon of the cabbage added a crunch texture to the noodles. A different style of instant noodles from Vifon that is worth checking out.
