    Here is some personal information on the Turbeville Family Researchers. These four individuals are related through their common ancestor John "Hickory Head" Turbeville (b. 1810).

    Charles R. Turbeville was born in Charleston, South Carolina and currently lives in Copperas Cove, Texas. He retired from the military after serving 20 years and is a Desert Storm veteran. He is now a Multiage Primary teacher. He has been doing family research for 13 years and has many excellent resources.

    Keith Turbeville was born in 1966 in Charleston, SC.His line is as follows Keith- Norman-Robert-Lide-Albert-John1810-John1790-George-Charles-John-Richard and poss John Of Va.. He currently lives in Fredricksburg, VA with his wife Karen and two children: Meredith and Peyton. Keith's area of expertise is the early Virginia and South Carolina history of the Turbevilles. Please contact him if you need information on this subject. Keith and J.E. are 2nd cousins (once removed), and Keith and Charles are 4th cousins. Keith has been doing research for 20 years after a first cousin had a school project to make a family tree.

    John (J.E.) Turbeville was born in Centenary, South Carolina in Marion County and currently lives in Walterboro, Colleton County, South Carolina. He is the source expert. If you have a question, he may be the one to help you.If you are doing research, J E has been there. J.E. is a 2nd cousin (once removed) to Keith, and a 3rd cousin (once removed) to Charles.
