1995's "Godzilla vs. Destroyah" featured a overheating Godzilla who eventually dies from a nuclear melt down and a creature created from the after effects of the weapon used to kill Godzilla in the first movie.



Destroyah was the best of Godzilla's new monster opponents. He looked awesome and won most of the battles before finally losing the war



King Ghidorah, a 3-headed monster from outer space, appeared in several Godzilla movies. Here's a pic from 1966's "Godzilla vs. Monster Zero."



1963's "Godzilla vs. The Thing" is the first Godzilla movie featuring Mothra. Mothra goes on to appear in many more Godzilla movies and also several more of her own.



1993's "Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II" is my all-time favorite Godzilla movie. Here MechaGodzilla flies toward Godzilla for their first battle.



"Godzilla 2000" featured a more realist, powerful, menacing Godzilla. Here Godzilla prepares to fire his heatbeam.



The follow up to "Godzilla 2000" is set for release in December 2001 and already under production. Here's one of the movie posters.
