I am in the process of updating these pages! I have been working hard to update my database and have new software which should enable me to easily transfer all my info to this web site. Visitors will be able to download gedcom files from my site, and my new software will make updates much easier. I will be adding several new links to my links page, as well as some new photos. I got introduced (or addicted rather) to genealogy years ago, by one of
my aunts. She gave me copies of all the family papers she had.
I was hooked! Admittedly, I am an amateur genealogist, but once you've
been bitten by the genealogy bug there's no turning back! =0)
There are more than 3,300 individuals in my database. The main surnames are:

BARNETT,
BURDICK,
HAMILTON,
HEAPE,
HICKS,
PRUITT,
QUICK,
ROGERS,
SANDERS, and
TOOKER.

my family tree.
I have cross-linked some names in
the surname index with items that you might find interesting...wills, photos,
deeds, etc. Whenever a document or photo is available, you will find
a symbol next to the person's name. If you wish, you can go directly
to these pages by clicking on the icons in the table below. These
page are a work in progress. I am continually adding new information,
pictures, etc.

to sites that have been helpful to me, information on soundex codes, and
guidelines for the beginner.
