C-Dragon Live Model Horse Show 2009
"Viva La Cheval"
Don't miss the eighth  annual C-Dragon Live Model Horse show hosted by C-Dragon Design and Diamond Royal Tack set for March 7th, 2009!  This year's theme is "Viva La Cheval" for some Vegas style fun!  The open show is NAN qualifying! All  first and second place equines  of NAMHSA approved classes will earn  a NAN card.  The show will be located at the Mariner Mall, 69 N. 28th Street, Superior, WI 54880 and starts at  9 a.m.  Mall doors open at 7:30 a.m. and set up begins at 8:00.    We will also be hosting a Novice show the same day which will begin at 10am and run concurrently with the Open Show.   Novice show classes do not receive NAN cards.  Be sure to check out our special Themed classes open to both Open show and Novice show participants.  These classes earn special prizes!

Judges are Amanda Crist and Molly Martens.  Entry fee is $40 per person to show all day.  For those showing only a few horses we have a $2 per class per horse fee.   Entries are due by February 28th.  Entries submitted after this date are subject to a $ 5 late charge.  For all entries postmarked by Feb. 7th  we are offering an early bird discounted rate to show all day at $30, so get those entries in early! The Novice show entry is $15 to show all day.

Also with your entry fee you are automatically entered into our door prize drawings which are held throughout the day. 

Rules:

* Models should be labeled with tags that have your entry number or initials and the horse's name, gender, and breed.  You may use tags or index cards.   Please keep track of your models when classes are called.

* No smoking and no pets allowed.  Please stay clear of the tables while classes are being judged.  The Mariner Mall is a business center with shops so please keep in mind that there may be curious passerbys.  Our show will be held in a seperate store front away from the main aisle.  Mariner Mall is a single floor building with handicap accessibility, public restrooms, and several eating establishments.  We will have Subway party platter sandwiches, snacks, and drinks available for those who don't wish to leave the showing area.   Also a show official will be present in the showing area at ALL times.

*Entrants may sell or trade model horses from their table space

*All entrants are guaranteed a full table.  Tables are approximately 6ft long by 3ft wide.  Additional tables are available at $6 each.  Novice show entrants please state if you can share a table and who you'd like to be seated next to.

*Entrants who pay the flat entry fee may enter as many classes as they wish in any category, but only two horses per class please.   Cross entering of any model into more than one breed class is not permitted but they may be entered in more than one collectibility class provided they meet the class requirements.

We do not have a snow date.  If weather is bad enough to cause road closings and we need to cancel, we will e-mail and /or call entrants and an alternate date will be set up at that time.  Refunds are at the show hosts' discretion.  If you cannot make it- e-mail us as soon as possible and we will see what we can do.
