This page is about how I started in Genealogy and why I started it. I hope to give insights as to how my mind works and how addicting this can be. There is a saying that fits perfectly when you think of genealogy:

I started genealogy about 10 years ago to see what I could find...I never dreamed that it would turn into the hobby that it is...!

I remember sitting with my family at family reunions and hearing bits and pieces of family stories, but never really paid attention to them.. but now as I have jumped with both feet into this project, I feel a lot of remorse on not paying close attention to those stories.

I am definitely over the age of 30 yrs old. I am a mother and wife. I enjoy reading, camping, swimming, and digging up the paper trail on my ancestors. I hope to reveal what it was like in the eras that my ancestors lived. I want to know the hardships they faced, wars they fought, where they lived, their childrens lifes etc.

I am not a person who does things half way. I like to jump in with both feet and search. My biggest ambition is to travel and actually visit these places that my family lived. So sit back, get comfortable and enjoy this remembrance of my ancestors that I have put together.
