What I like about it: I picked this verse because I am getting baptized this week!!
"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and all who are far off - for all whom the Lord our God will call." Acts 2:38-9

What I like about it: I really enjoy this verse because even though the people are being persecuted, they still are joyful in proclaiming their faith.
Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ. Acts 5: 42

What I like about it: This is interesting to me because of the drama in it. Scales falling from his eyes... Sounds like a movie!
Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, and after taking some food, he regained his strenght. Acts 9:18-19
