My lifetime circle of
friends, Susan, Linda, Barbara Jean and me.
This relationship that will never
end, Began when we were only
three.
I know our meeting had
to be fate, Since to that playground we all
did go. Those four little toddlers couldn't
wait To have fun playing in the snow.
Together during school we spent our
time Because as friends we did
shine. Until there came that awful June
day When Susan had to move away.
We all did shed so many
tears, Our hearts were filled with great
fears. The letters and phone calls we all
shared, Let Susan know we would always
care.
Then came the day I was a
bride. My circle of friends were at my side.
That was the beginning of my womanhood As
at the alter we four stood.
Years
later again they were all there. Holding my
hand showing how they cared. On that day my
daughter's birth was to be. My circle of
friends shared my glee.
Now today
again our tears do flow, For to Heaven our
beloved Linda did go. I sit here thinking of
those wonderful years. My "Circle of Friends"
will dry my tears.
