Hush my
baby, please don't cry
Go to sleep, your Mom is standing by.
She is
watching over you, from Heaven above,
And she is sending you all her
love.
Much to short her life had to be,
God gave her enough time to
give birth to thee.
Her greatest wish was always to have a
child.
She was dreaming of you all the while.
You are living proof
of her great love,
Even though she was called to Heaven above.
She
will watch as to a woman you grow,
Pride in you on her face will
glow.
So hush little baby, please don't cry,
God will let you see
Mom in the by and by.

This poem
was inspired by this painting by Simon Dewey and the
true story of a 42
year old woman that was in my daughter's
Moms Of Multipliable Babies group.
This woman had waited for
many years to become a Mother. Finally she was
pregnant with triplets
but sadly she lost her life in child birth. Her
three healthy but small
babies went home after several weeks in the
hospital. I know
she must be watching over them and sending her
love.
