| The Biggest OTB Twixt tournament ever! 27 players showed up! This has to be the largest group of players to ever play face to face. Most were probably newcomers, but there were several experienced players as well. As expected, the games tended to finish quickly, about 40 minutes on average per round. The fancy digital clocks provided were mostly unnecessary, but no one complained, and they looked kind of cool in a geeky way. No adjudications here! There were a few instances of confusion regarding the rules; some players missed the demo session. But once explained to them, the rules were accepted without complaint.Everyone came to play. |
