You are bidding on a homemade open 15 foot long car trailer with electric brakes on two axles. It is a solid trailer at a great price. Most car trailers you find are priced much higher, yet offer little more, if anything.
This trailer has electric brakes on both axles, where most commercial open trailers have them only on one axle to save costs.
And for all that, you pay them around $2000 and more. For what ? - some pin stripes, some white wagon wheels, and shiny paint.
Overall length - 22 feet
Runner length (where car sits) - 179 inches (1 inch short of 15 feet)
Distance between fenders - 77 inches
Lights are at the rear and on both sides. The lights at the rear are tucked up in and under the runners so that they are protected from being knocked off like on many trailers. If you have used a trailer before, you know how easily lights get knocked off and these are protected from road debris, items in parking areas, other cars parking too close, and careless people walking by. They are working, and I will check them before you pick the trailer up to be sure they are.
Interested in the truck? http://www.oocities.org/twomnj/gmc.htm It isn't your ordinary GMC pickup.
The tires look like the typical mobile home tires (7-14.5MH) but they are the LT tires with a Load Range D, 8 Ply Rating, and 1870 lb maximum load rating. These are not the cheap mobile home take-offs you see on many homemade trailers. The tires will handle a 7400 lb. load and a trip down the highway.
To buy a set of these will cost you around $300 or more so look at how good a deal this trailer is.
There is a new swing jack. The jack is removable and additional mounts can be added to the rear so that you can use the jack to lift the trailer in case of a flat tire. The mounts are available at many trailer parts stores.
This last picture is here just to show that yes, a car will fit on it and I have had one on it. I towed empty about 90 miles to pick this car up, then towed it back 90 miles with no problems and everything working just fine. The doors just barely clear the fenders. If you tow a low car, you might consider a couple of boards in the runners to lift the car slightly to clear the doors.
