In fairy tales and fantasy.
Knights on white horses, damsels in distress,
Dreams of forever after her mind did caress.
Castles and hopes threading up to the sky,
Entwining her soul in the strands of the lie.
Slowly unraveled by the reality
Of what has been, and what would be.
