Secret Place


When craziness fills my world,
when all my senses seem to twist and swirl,
when tears are rolling down my face,
I travel to my special place.
Deep within my very soul,
exists a place where I can go.
A place that holds my hopes and dreams.
A place that no one else has seen.
Filled with love and tenderness.
I go there sometimes just to rest.
To find the calm that I once knew.
To sort through feelings and find what's true.
