Taking You From Today Into Tomorrow

I was lucky enough to have aquired some McCaskey product ads, which I have posted here.  As you can see from the ads The McCaskey Register Company was selling convenience and prosperity.  They were selling themselves and their reputation as a company to business owners to keep their records organized and keep their sales margins up.  They made you need them!  They made you feel like you needed their products to keep  your business running, and they stood behind their products.  They sold you The McCaskey Register System, McCaskey Cash Registers and all of the forms you needed to run an organized, profitable business.  They even reached into Physicians and Dentists offices.

This paticular ad I scan in two parts because it is a very large ad. I left the bottom half bigger because I wanted you to be able to read the smaller print that talks most about the company and what they had to offer.

In this ad (right) McCaskey is pushing their "untouchable difference" in service station management  with this exclusive gas station cash register.  What made it exclusive wasn't that it was made as a gas station register, other companies produced them as well.  What made them exclusive as you can see was the service station key arrangement and the gasoline metering total of cash and credit sales accounted for.  As you can also see from this ad McCaskey had plants or offices almost everywhere across the country and in Canada and England to make it convenient to get their products no matter where you were.
