HELLHOLE
At last, a movie about my bathroom

Who'd have thought that a movie about lobotomies could be so dumb?

Judy Landers, possibly the least sexy woman ever passed off as a sexy one in a movie, stars as a young lass whose mother is targeted by a leather-n-studs-wearing, singing killer. No, he's not Rob Halford - he's "Silk", presumably named because of the red scarf he uses to strangle his victims. Seems Silk is looking for some papers. (just what those papers are, and what they might reveal, is never even hinted at tin the film) Anyway, after the attack, mother's dead, and Judy has amnesia. So she's locked up in a mental institution for women; you know, the kind that only has young, nubile women which get undressed at the drop of a hat. It's run by a sinister woman who dresses like Obi-Wan Kenobi in her opening scene. Problem is, she's got a secret - any inmate who's bad gets hauled off by guards (including Robert Z'Dar and his big-ass chin) into Hellhole, a nasty place from which no one returns.

Security's really tight in this joint. When one doctor catches an orderly (Silk, really) harassing and threatening Judy, he says "I'm talkin' to you!" and poses macho-ly. Silk walks off unhindered. Anyway, back to the evil doctor woman. She's experimenting with chemical lobotomies - but her male colleague accuses her of using the experiments to work out her "Sexual issues". Whatever sexual issues those are, I don't know. How the experiments tie in to them, I have no idea.

This one runs the whole gamut of "women in prison" flick cliches - naked catfights, lesbian scenes (woohoo!), arguments in the shower about whose bitch is whose...it comes as no great surprise that the screenwriter's only other credit is Chained Heat.

For fans of lurid, hilariously bad trash only. Somewhat entertaining, but if you're looking for quality, why are you looking here?
