White Sands National Park in New Mexico
Photos at the White Sands National Park during the first phase of the sunset. There is nothing more peaceful or beautiful than the White Sands Desert. We have been there twice and I plan to go again. Walking alone on the dunes seems like a glimpse into Heaven.  The world is white and towards evening the sunset and surrounding hills cast a tinted glow that is hard to define.  You have to experience it  for yourself in order to understand why it is like no where else on earth.
