Never Fail pie Crust

Fast and Easy

This recipe is great for beginning cooks, those who just don't have time to cook and those who want to get it right the first time. This was the first crust my daughters learned to make. It is the recipe I give to all people who say, "I can't make a piecrust." They always have a smile on their face after using the recipe. It works well for any type of pie from fruit to meat.

5 cups of flour

1 pound margarine or butter or any combination of the two (room temperature but still firm.

1 cup cold water

You can use a bowl or a ziplock bag. Mix together the margarine and flour until crumbly. Add one cup of water and mix just until blended. Roll out the amount needed on a lightly floured board. Use what you need and freeze the rest. You can store in the refrigerator for several days.
