Sekitar tahun 1998 saya mencoba untuk membuat sejarah U2. Lewat informasi dari berbagai media seperti buku-buku U2, majalah, internet sampai TV dan video saya kumpulkan untuk membuat sejarah yang halamannya berjumlah 23-24 halaman folio ini (sumber dapat dilihat di bawah). Sejarah ini saya bagi dalam 6 bab. Berhubung tulisan ini panjang banget (sesuai dengan panjangnya karir U2). Maka saya bagi dalam beberapa chapter !.
