WHAT DENTAL SCHOOL IS LIKE
I just want to talk a bit about dental school and what it takes to get in. Kick ass on your DAT. The DAT perceptual is not important because if it was then I would be declared legally blind after the score I got. Dental schools really like it when you do good on organic chemistry and other weed out disciplines. Schools are also concerned with prior dental experience. The basic formula to get in to the top schools is a GPA around 3.6, DAT average around 22, with a bit of research experience on the side.
Now that I've talked about getting in, I will breakdown my four years at Columbia dental school as I go along. First year is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Part of the reason is my fault because I wait until the last minute to get things done.
