THE LAST EPISODE OF ELDORADO WHERE TANDY MEETS HIS GIRLFREIND NEAR THE HARBOUR THERE WHEN PILAR AFTER SHE WAS TOLD THAT MARCUS WAS DEAD, THERE WAS A BACKGROUND SONG PLAYING ! ANY IDEA WHAT IT WAS OR MIGHT BE?

The trouble with Eldorado was that it was years ahead of its time. Now that
people are leaving the UK for Spain in ever increasing numbers there are
plenty of real people with real stories that can be used as the basis for a
new series, instead of the rubbish that was churned out in the original.

It was brought to my attention that my car is mentioned.
I am the owner of the A610 and it is in original condition. I've been more than happy to have Eldorado fans see that car, sit in it when I've been approached. If ever you are interested in doing anything I might be around with the car.
Also on the site it states in the same paragraph that it was an MR2. It
was a Triumph TR7. I've watched the scene frame by frame and you can see it
change. The TR7 is easily identifiable from the lights and bonnet louvres (I'm a classic car anorak :) ).

Eldorado was the best thing in my life in the early 90's, I couldnt keep my eyes away from the ever slick Marcus Tandy and his wily ways. ooh, what a corker. He just wasn't the same in his later shows such as BUGS.
But the show itself was fabulous. There were many nights when I would sit in after being stood up by my ex boyfriend, Cedric, and have a tub of popcorn and watch good old Bunny and good old Fiz in that sunny false resort.

I Agree Eldorado was treated abismaly by the BBC, It was he best Soap on TV and when it is on UK Gold it is the only soap I ever watch. The others are all depressing and just recycle each others storylines. I have a copy of the Video Adios Eldorado, I bought it the day after the final episode It is still worth watching,

just been reading your eldorado page with some interest.
I was a massive fan of the show, I dont know why, it just was refreshing at the time
some of the fixtures and fittings were grabbed by eager fans in the right place at the right time a friend of mine from London, who now lives in Spain, had the plaque of the doctors door, and some other items,
someone who I also got in touch with from Scotland now owns, Jessies 1992 Renault Alpine car as used in eldorado, the blue car they blew up was an old mr2 replacement
I hope they do bring it back in some form, the BBC in a way did try a few years ago with a mini series called , sunshine, or sunbreak or something like that, which was set on greece if i remember, it was very similar to eldorado in nature, and was very very good

I TOTTALLY AGREE, BRING BACK ELDORADO. I AM DESPERATE TO GET INTOUCH WITH FANS FROM ELDORADO, TO WATCH EPSIODES, AND SHARE VIEWS. ELDORADO TOWARDS THE END AND SEEING THE RERUN ON UK GOLD SHOWED ME IT HAAD MORE CREDBILITY THAN ANY OF THE TRASHY AUSTRALIAN SOAPS, WITH GREAT LIGHTS, SETS, STORYLINE INCREASING, SUNSHINE, EXCELLENT THEME TUNE. eldorado should of not been axed as it was getting better and better and by now it would of been a 5 times a week soap and it would be beating emmerdale and family affairs in the viewings. so bring back eldorado. calvin saxton mansfield uk

HI, THIS IS A SHOW THAT NEEDS A SECOND CHANCE.IT WAS GOOD IN THE PAST AND IS EVEN BETTER NOW WHEN SEEN ON UK GOLD.
