Outline:
This soap, the first to be launched under ITV1, is set in Greenwich and focuses on the lives of six very different families. It follows their children's upbringing as well as the growing lives of the parents.
This is a different type of soap, with background music, new edit cuts, some shacky camera shots as well as voice overs and flash-backs. If nothing it's different to the others.
When the day time episode's were dropped from ITV1's schedule, they did carry on in the late night slot, but only lasted until the beginning of June 2003 with just 500,000 viewers tuning in to see how it all ended.

This is one of the best programmes i had watched in long time when it got axed frm its earlier slot i got stuck with the usual crap like neighbours and home and away, I still stay up late on a thursday night just to watch it !!!!!!!!!

Night & Day deserves an earlier time-slot!! It has so much humour, much of it subtle, that viewers need to be wide awake to get all the gags! It's a must-see programme packed with twisting plots & intriguing characters - a refreshing break from the run-of-the-mill soaps.
One more thing...JOE MCGANN - you are amazing! PLEASE reply to more fanmail as I'm waiting desperately for your autograph! All my love,

I started watching this about 4 weeks ago. It is on at 11.30pm mon to Friday on W..(used to be WTN)I live in Canada.
I think it is a terrific soap, very different and very good.The flashbacks and dream sequences all add to the ambience of the show and keep you wanting more. I have just read on the website that they have finished filming for the present time.WHAT!!! When you have a good thing stick to it.All the cast members in this programme are extremely believable and though I like Eastenders and have watched Coronation Street since its begining(and who would have thought then it would still be running in the 21st century), and in the last year we have been fortunate to get "Emmerdale" once again,I think that this new and different soap will be a Winner.
I am telling all my friends to watch it or video it if they are not night owls.

I think that this is an absolutely fabulous show. It's very different from other teenage and adult soaps because I think that it contains both of them. I also think that Seb Castang is soooo gorgous.

Night and Day better be recommissioned.ITV1 never gave it a fair chance. Admittedly it's better as late night programme because it didn't really work as daytime soap.If the hilarious Crossroads can get recommissioned, so can Night and Day. - 11/09/02
