• Kate is a drama graduate from Leeds University.
  
• She is originally from Doncaster in Yorkshire. She is a very quiet home-loving sort of girl who used to miss her home and her familly very much. Which is why she is a northern based actress.
  
• Early on in her career she starred in a low budget British made film. A film with a moral message in the style of the classic film 'Cathy Come Home'. Kate said then that this was a direction that she would love to go in.
