I have been tested recently by some friends about my memory........I stated that I could remember pieces from the very first soap on ITV called Sixpenny Corner.Unfortunately all I could remember was a man called Fred the butcher and that he always wore a striped apron.....please tell me that I am right or I will never be able to hold my head up again.

And there was I thinking for years that I had dreamt or imagined a programme called "Sixpenny Corner"!
I must have been no more than 4 or 5 years old but I was sure I had seen it! Thank you.
