This was the series that followed the lifes of the people who worked at a stables and trained riders. Mike Hardy was the main character wanting to be the top in horse racing.

Hi, I have just been on your website and would like to let you know that I have a copy of Brat Farrar on video minus the 1st episode and also a copy of Trainer, all episodes minus the last 2 (I think) - the tape with these episodes has unfortunately gone missing. I would love to know whether anyone has the last couple of episodes. I might be able to get copies of the episodes I have.

So cool that I am not alone, I have been trying to get these VHS and now DVDs since the show aired, what over 10 years ago? I am an american, who recently did 2 years in London. I went so far as to go to the BBC in person and was told that they show has not been released, they would take it under consideration. I have almost all the shows on video taped (I taped them) but I am missing the LAST SHOW, sigh, so don't know how it ended. The tape quality is very low so had hoped it would be released by now.
Yes, Kim Mazelle was in a few episodes!
If anyone finds them, please post here, I'll check back every few months :-}

Hi my name is Heather Campbell, I am 21 years old and from New England. Growing up I developed a love of horses, england and good BBC series. I think I was about 12 when the show "Trainer" was aired briefly on Maine Public Television. My mom and I both loved it, we stayed up (I beleive it was sunday nights at 11pm) each weekend to see what would happen next in Mike's stable.
Years before this, a BBC mini series was aired on PBS Mystery! and on the A & E network, called "Brat Farrar" which starred a very youthful and talented young man named Mark Greenstreet. The same actor who played Mike Hardy in "Trainer".
I have spent probably hours on the internet the past few years trying to find links to "Trainer" and "Brat Farrar". It would be so great to find either one on DVD or Video!! ALSO I have always wanted to send Mark Greenstreet a fan letter, even if it is a little late!!!
Can you tell me anything about Mr. Greenstreet, if there is a website about him, or an address where I could send him a letter??? Please, any help would be sooo apriciated!!! Thank you so much!!! Happy Holidays.
